Should the round 1 games be set up by rank (e.g., game #1 = highest 8 scores, etc.) or be random?

GD, I don't think I get what you are saying with the Flashback thing.

Also, thessel and I won our game.

So in book 4, there are parallel plots that go through the book. The dominant one is about Roland and his three childhood friends and their quest to find the Grapefruit orb. That is the flashback. One person from the ka tet gets to be "Roland" and will play with three people from different ka tet's.

The other three get to hang around in present day (the Topeka story line, where more or less they hang around the Thiny with bullets in their ears trying not to go mad, and then stumble on the tic toc man again. The three who are not in the Roland flashback just play against each other, idea being that they start to go stir crazy.

Game 3538171, won by Haggis_McMutton and myself, so our team has 2 points from this round.

There seems to be a problem with the games that were made for round 4; the three player groups are supposed to be playing against each other (driven mad by the thinny - a little in-fighting added by me not in the book). We will sort it out shortly and get new games sent, but in the meantime, if you are playing in the 3-set on USA apocalypse, please ignore the PMs that went out on Monday from Ditto. As ditto is keeping the master list of who was pitched into the Age of Merchants game and who gets a head-to-head with their teammates on apocalypse, she will be sending out the links to the new Apocalypse games, so watch for another PM from her.

Thanks
GD

Having noticed that my own game for this round has lapsed without everyone joining, I quickly ran a search and it appears that 4 of the 10 games for this round were started (and are complete). The other 6 did not even start.

In light of this lack of continued interest, I am pretty much ready to call this tournament and award the win to the current points leader. Since 12 players have had an extra round to earn points, I will consider making games for any other players on the roster who want be on even standing. Post here if you are still interested.

This is a great, well though out and interesting tournament and it's a shame that those players not joining and playing is ruining it for everyone else. I'm fine with what ever action you would like to take regarding this, and I thank you both for running this tourney =D>

I'm fine with playing out this tournament, and I'm fine with calling it here. Thanks for setting up the tournament, it caused me to start reading the Dark Tower series.

Okay, so gdeangel has given me permission to do whatever I want with the tournament. So I know it's been like 3 months-ish since the last active game. So I want a post here if you're willing to continue playing or not. If at least half [or around] is willing to continue this tournament, I will continue organizing. Or else, I'll find someway to conclude it [and name the appropriate winner].

Right now, we have thirteen [lexitonia has sent in by PM], and although the fact that I gave until the end of the month, I'm thinking of continuing this tournament and getting three reserves [if needed].
