Conquer Club

Doubles League Bracket Style

This tournament combines the Bracket Style play with a League element. 16 doubles teams will play a bracket on each of the teams home settings. For each bracket points are awarded with the team collecting the most points in all brackets winning the tournament.

Points
-1 point for each won game
-1 extra point for winning a semifinal or final game
-points in the teams home bracket are doubled

Tiebreaker
If 2 or more teams have the same amount of points after all 16 brackets they will play each other home-and-away with the team winning most games winning the tournament. If that gives no conclusion the teams will play each other 1 time on 1 of the settings of the other brackets (maps that the teams have as their own home setting are excluded). If this still gives no conclusion, the number of rounds in which they won their game(s) in this last play-off series determines the winner.

Rules about not showing up
-When a team hasn’t shown up for a game 3 days after my PM, I will send them a reminder. If they still haven’t shown up 3 days after the reminder, they will have a make a substitution.
-When a team doesn’t show up for a round 1 game, they can 1 time make 1 substition in their team. When they need to make another substitution, they are considered as a new team and they will lose all points they collected in the previous brackets.
-When a team doesn’t show up for a quarterfinal, semifinal or final game, they will automatically lose that game.

Settings
-all games are 4-player Doubles and Sequential
-each team can select which map, cards, forts, Fog/No Fog they want to play in their home bracket.
-A (new) team can change their home settings as long as their homebracket hasn’t started yet.

Games
-In each bracket the home team will be put at the top of the bracket. The other 15 teams are randomly drawn into the rest of the bracket.
-As soon as all round 1 games in a bracket have finished, I will set up the round 1 games of the next bracket. This means that non-Premium players always have to be able to play 2 games at the same time in this tournament.
