Just realized I should have labeled those Set 7, not set 6....
Still waiting on a couple to join the invites. I'm now formulating the triples games to make sure everyone has a chance to win with someone they have not as of yet in the tournament.

I am now in need of replacement for Sundance123. Once I have one found, game 1 of the set will be filled.

I'm going to be sending out some Round 2 games soon (triples), it is just taking a little longer to try to match up players with teammates they've not won or played with in this event.

I am making one revision to the event just because it seemed very odd that it was done this way. In the quote below, the original TO envisioned that the players finishing with the top 6 point totals after 3 rounds would play each other to 5 wins, therefore determining the winner of the event. I plan to keep this format in place to decide the champ.

But if I read it correctly, he also had positions 7-12, 13-18, and 19-24 playing sets to 5 wins as well to determine their final position in the event. I'm going to assume, that if you are in 17th place, you are not really going to be all that excited to play at least 7 or 8 games to find out that you could finish as high as 13th place. I could be wrong - so let me know if you really want to do this - if enough people say yes to playing those lower rank games, I'll take a poll to determine if I will run them. For the time being, I do not plan to have those games played, as I personally think they would be meaningless.

Round 1: Doubles, 4-Team Games
Once an individual reaches 5 wins the round is over.

Round 2: Triples, 2-Team Games
Once an individual reaches 5 wins the round is over.

Round 3: Quads, 2-Team Games
Once an individual reaches 4 wins the round is over.

Final Round: Free For All!
The final round will be based on points scored in previous rounds. This is how points are determined:
Round 1: 3 Points Per Win
Round 2: 2 Points Per Win
Round 3: 1 Point Per Win
The 6 with the most points will play each other to 5 wins, then the next six, and so on. In case of ties that will determine game placement, which there should be quite a few, there will be standard random games played between those who tied.

Well done. Regardless of the outcome of the other two on-going games, since you have reached 5 wins in the first round, we now move onto the second round with triples games. I have a set lined up ready to go, just need to find some time to send the invites.

Points will be added up and sorted once this round is complete. Points carry forward, with each win in the second round being worth 2 points per person.

Amazingly 7 players won 4 games that round. So I will create one set of games and send invites, so you will only each get one triples game. I'm betting that at least one of those 7 players will get their 5th win to trigger the 3rd round and the quad games. Invites will hopefully go out mid to late next week.

magneto_acolyte is back after a short absence and has assured me he won't miss anymore. See previous posting for current tournament status.

Invites for last set of Triples. This round will end here, as a number of players have 4 wins each, and several are playing against one another. Quads will come soon.

Quad games have all started except two, as it seems Grandilof has gone AWOL and I'll need to find a replacement.

Give me some time ;) I'll be updating soon. I've got to get some more games out. Keep in mind, scores of top six are wiped out as we move into finals.

I guess it my own fault for taking so long to get this going again, but now I need at least 2 replacements. LittleMao and magneto_acolyte have both dropped out, and Ltrain and Bogangod are not accepting invites. The latter two have one last chance to join in. The first two players spots are up for grabs. If you know someone who wants in.....
