Sinema has a well-established iconoclastic reputation. She competes in Ironman triathlons, moonlighted at a Napa Valley winery and often hangs out on the GOP side of the aisle during floor votes.
And she maintains a relationship with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy that could come in handy with a GOP House and a Democratic Senate: “We served together for a long time, we're friends,” she said of McCarthy.
GOP should offer to make Manchin the President Pro Tempore (with Sinema's vote) if he switches.

Yeah, I smelled this coming. As soon as the Dems were salivating over solidifying their hold on the Senate, I knew right away that there would be some defectors. Sinema and Manchin both came to mind.
If the Dems cannot keep a lid on all the corruption that they and the RINOs are wrapped up into, they will have many more defectors in the next two years; but I had a feeling in my gut that Sinema was going to fly the coop.
Shall be an interesting two years for sure.
Third Party has a real chance of emerging at this stage, it just depends on who is going to lead it.
I am sick of Trump-ism and the same old MAGA schtick. I am fully accepting that a conservative woman is what the country needs to lead us, perhaps Tulsi and Sinema recognize that.
Anyway, I changed how I viewed Sinema the day that Nancy Pelosi had all the Democrat females dress in white; but Sinema chose to wear HOT PINK and then she stood up and gave Trump a standing ovation and the Dems told her: "You better watch your ass."
Much respect for that evening.
