Tigers just got David Price.
Verlander might be the 4th best starter on the team.
Scherzer - Price - Sanchez - Verlander - Porcello

SWEET. Had to make this deal after what Oakland did.

Bollocks.

Interesting that Tampa gave up Price even though they're in a hot streak.

Sad but happy day for the Sox. Some great memories of Lester (especially when he came back after his cancer treatment). Needed to be done though...it was a really inconsistent rotation.

An injury riddled Rangers season and there's nothing
left for them now but to be spoilers. Just hoping the
rebuild year doesn't surrender too much talent.

The rangers....

The rangers let go Nolan Ryan. The rangers stick with poor washington thats has proven not been able to do that extra thing to win. The rangers had it but nelson cruz couldnt catch it. The rangers traded away a symbol in ian kinsler. Even worse, the rangers got the fat, yes the fat contract of prince fielder. The rangers let go nelson cruZ. The rangers traded chris davis.

Yeah, im captain hindsight and i dont care about injuries of prince, profar, moreland, holland.

I really hated to see Kinsler go,
but I haven't given up on Wash.

Kinsler has been great in Detroit. We really robbed you guys getting him for Fielder. At least, that's how it looks this year. We'll see if the deal looks any less lopsided in the coming years.

Yes, it looks like a great trade up yo this point for my Tigers! I wish we would have addressed the bullpen as well but I know the price would have been high.

How tough is the American League West?
Every division leading team in the National League
would be stuck in third place if they were there.

Seattle has won 60 games so far, is 10 games behind Oakland
and might even miss the postseason.

Guess what? MLB and CC have something in common. Can you guess what it is?

Jeter tied Hognus Wagner in the all time hits list today. Stupid Jeter, if he had been smarter last year and rested his injury more, he couldve played a couple of seasons more and make it to the third place.

The way he tips his hat to Francona is classic.

RIP Oscar Taveras.

Future superstar, only 22, dies in car accident.

If the Cards made the World Series he would maybe be alive today. Weird how the fates are.

I thought the same, if gordon had ran hard from home to first he would have scored.

But once in third i thought it was a good idea to run for him with Gore and try to steal home.

that would've been awesome. Stealing home to tie up game 7 in the bottom of the ninth.

Perez was way off in his at bat. He was chasing shit. I knew it was over once he took his first swin.g

Yep, Perez deserved that AB after all he'd done, but I knew he wasn't gonna get a hit. Bumgarner was fooling everybody with the high fastball.

Gordon isn't that fast and there was no way even if he was running hard from the get go that he would of scored. Now if it was Cain it would of been another story.
Pinch running Gordon for Gore at third would of been a dead give away but then again maybe Perez would of got a lot more fastballs.
