It wouldn't post the link.
But it's on zillow.com now if you look for Maplewood rentals, 5+ bedrooms.

Then again, where I live, I can buy a whole house for that! (yes, a fixer upper foreclosure, but a house).
OR, you can buy one that is in reasonably good, very livable condition for 30K.

not even in Mexico.
well, maybe on a hill surrounded by bushes and weeds and snakes.

Non-citizens cannot own property in most of Mexico (maybe all, not sure on that).

No directly, but they use bank's trustfunds to own them.
Are you interested in buying in Mexico? I'm selling an fixer upper in Mazatlan, nice calm area, close the the Marina, Malecon, Plaza Machado, etc. Gimme 80k and it's yours.

yeah, maybe with a nice bridge??.
Actually, I imagine you might be serious, but if I had that kind of money, do you think I would be living where I am? -- the town, but not the house! (Its OK, but I really want some acreage)

With a bridge it would cost you much more.
Many Americans (and Canadians) come to live in Mexico, specially in places like Mazatlan because the climate but mainly because their money does more here.

PS the reason rentals in Maplewood are so expensive is because of the huge property taxes - my old place is almost 2 grand a month just for that.
