The Dooming U.A.W. strike... doooom

Covid was a good window for workers to rally and organize, making the most of the 'essential worker' tagline.
That has held true with many strikes and tense contract negotiations that happened in many sectors.
But that was already overdue imo, Covid just sort of triggered it.
The inflation that has happened due to the ridiculous spending done by both parties, has added an urgency to the topic.
The United Auto Workers has been preparing for this entire year to strike if needed.
They usually target one Brand/Corporation to negotiate with.
They are currently targeting the entire industry due to inflation.
A general strike of all auto makers at the same time has never happened before.

920,000 Americans work in auto maker/parts factories and another 1.2 million of them work at auto dealers.
