Personnel from Joint Base Charleston and Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort in South Carolina are responding on Sunday to a mishap involving a missing F-35B Lightning II jet from Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron (VMFAT) 501 with the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing.

The pilot ejected safely into a North Charleston neighborhood and was transferred to a local medical center in stable condition. Emergency response teams are still trying to locate the F-35, which apparently kept flying without the pilot.

Nun uh, finders keepers. They should have equipped it with a self destruct feature if they didn't want it getting in the wrong hands.

16 hours later, the F-35 is still gone

the Navy have apparently called the police to report it missing

A South Carolina Law Enforcement Division helicopter joined the search for the F-35 after some bad weather cleared in the area, Stanton said.

It was probably stolen by ancient Egyptians and the deep state is now going to cover it up to prevent mass panic.

Just watch. They will stall now while they think of some lies, then once they've got their stories straight they will 'discover' what happened and tell the media. The pattern is always the same!

F35 has been a bloated budget boondoggle since its early days as just an idea.

Transponder, blackbox, Air traffic tracking radar, cell tower triangulation, etc.
There are several ways to instantly track this aircraft if it was a simple malfunction as reported.
The fact that its still missing raises all sorts of red flags for something nefarious.

Kim Jong-be-illin probably used N.Korean fembot decepticons to steal it for tyrant street cred.

The plane is still rogue. The Navy says they've now called in the Civil Air Patrol. That's the group of 14-16 year-old aviation enthusiasts.

Can Logan, Kyle, and his friends do what the Biden Force can't?

THANKS, BIDEN.

Why “Thanks Biden”?

We don’t know the cause of the reported “mishap”… we don’t know if it was a malfunction or a pilot error, the two most likely causes. Though the plane may have struck a flock of birds or been attacked by aliens or Chinese Spy Balloons too I guess.

That said, in none of those scenarios would one put immediate and direct blame on the President.
(This is independent of who the President happens to be at the time or what Party he’s from.)

So why “Thanks Biden”.

Ultimately “the buck stops” at the desk of the Commander in Chief… but that doesn’t mean it’s his “fault”.

You can hold him accountable if/for…
*lack of transparency if the military fails to properly explain or disclose the cause.
*failure of leadership if he doesn’t find and address the cause within a reasonable time frame.
(Or more accurately if those who report to him don’t find and address the cause.)
*bad governance if the cause is related to design/build issues and he doesn’t hold the company(ies) involved accountable.

These are reasonable opinions after due time and consideration… but somehow blaming Biden moments after something like happens is ridiculous.

Also, why anyone finds an incident like this funny is beyond me. You’re talking about an $8 million dollar taxpayer loss and a potential risk of civilian life. Yeah… hilarious!

They found the debris field… they obviously did track it and had an idea where it was.
At some point it’s going to fall below radar tracking ability.

It’s funny how idiots who want something to bitch about immediately assume “something nefarious”.

and this photoshopped picture shows…

Are you suggesting the plane didn’t crash? That we are secretly sending planes to Ukraine?

If it’s a joke I don’t get it.

It’s either a weak ass joke or a crazy conspiracy theory.

8 million dollar taxpayer loss? You are off by at least 72 million dollars.

He obviously meant $80 million, and just merely typo'd forgetting to add a zero.
Clearly overcome with emotion due to the photographic evidence from Zelensky's official Twitter account!~
