I'll bite.

Technically, I'd call this a glass of water. Definition of a cup: a small bowl-shaped container for drinking from, typically having a handle.

Dork

Cup (specifically, a Turkish 'tulip' teacup) It's made of glass, no handle

DDS this is your last warning.

If you don't stop provoking the Forums with objectionable comments, images, and (worst of all) IDEAS!

Huh? Wha-??
Wait, you mean this?

Great... now even DDS is getting political.
What happened to those good old days when you could just completely forget it was an election year.

So water

Many moons ago the wife and I watched Pan's Labrynth. Previews looked interesting and we needed something for movie night.
The fantastical bits of the movie's trailer made it seem like it might be a movie focused at older kids, but sure why not. We gave it a try.
The director Guillermo del Toro did a great job.
Solid movie. NOT for kids. Strange and dark, very dark at times, but worthy. Definitely worth at least one viewing if anyone has never seen it.

So years later another of his movies came around, 'The Shape of Water'
Figured we would give Del Toro another go.
No. Hell no. The movie was all over the place and wasn't sure if it wanted to be taken serious or was a stealth parody of other titles.
I can put up with a lot of junk, but I tap out at fish sex. I mean come on.

No need for hysteria DDS...

Water is a serious issue for many of us in the Southwest. Over 2 billion people face water scarcity around the world and you post a picture of a glass of water as something that has nothing to do with politics.

You are such a child.

And to prolong this tragedy, I suppose now you'll say "the CUP is half empty".

Sigh. Kids.

That glass is more like 75% full or would you call it 25% empty?

What about big blue Indian aliens getting freaky? I'm kind of curious where this line begins and ends.

Pans Lab though, good movie choice.

I dunno... looks like a (75% full) glass of vodka to me. This whole thread is fake news created by the left wing mainstream media to cover up the fact that DDS is a closet alcoholic.

• As to the first part, you are unable to clearly conceptualize of of 3-dimensional space.

• As to the second part,
The name vodka is a diminutive form of the Slavic word voda (water), interpreted as "waterkin": root vod- [water] + -k- (diminutive suffix, among other functions) + -a (ending of feminine gender). In English literature, the word vodka appeared in around the late 18th century.

Therefore, this whole thread could simply be based on a translation error.

https://www.reddit.com/r/blackmagicfuck ... messed_up/

the glass is slightly tapered, implying the top 1/5 of the glass holds more than 1/5th of the volume, hence 75% full not 80% full. suck my 3 dimensional balls!

Damn it jusplay4MAGA, it's not a fukn cup, it's a glass. Do not screw up this intellectual thread with gibberish.

Cups are for coffee and such. Glasses are for water, beer, vodka and err bad eye sight.
