You probably find it excessively sweet, despite the zest. I understand, though it is still on average better than lemon meringue or pecan, the latter being rarely even acceptable. Not because of the pecans, which are fine (though inferior to walnuts), but because of that foul clammy brown sugar goop that they are usually imbedded in, ...like gravel in asphalt.
Hmf, I actually already discussed this exact same matter last holiday season.
Of the other pre-selected choices, Apple is probably the one most deserving of the title Finest Pie, though Pumpkin can also be very nice.
Of course, it should go without saying, all of this highly dependent on the exact recipe and quality of ingredients and preparation.

I just learned Shari's has Key Lime Pie back for a limited time only. I may go there this week. Anyone who is on the USA West Coast should go to Shari's and get LIMITED EDITION KEY LIME PIE. TASTE THE TROPICS!
