WTF?

I was close to having heartattack.

Incredibly enough, if the three teams win the rest of the games they have before the last game, now Barcelona has more chances, which means they will be more motivated to beat Atleti which helps RM. But now RM needs Atleti to lose, if they had won today they would only need a tie.

Apparently Ancelotti had planned to give rest to some players and he didn't change the plan after Atletico's defeat. We missed Pepe the most, but we also missed Modric, Coentrao and Di Maria.

Right now:
Atletico de Madrid ..88.3
Barcelona ..............85.6
Real Madrid ...........83

Games left:
Atletico: --------------------------------Malaga --------- @Barcelona
Barcelona: ----------------------------@Elche --------- Atletico
Real Madrid: --@Valladolid ---- @Celta --------- Espanyol

I'm a Crystal Palace fan for a day! I dislike Man City but I hate no club more than Liverpool. I think Man City are going to win the league anyway, but if Liverpool don't get a win today it's even more likely. I'd be ecstatic!

Real Madrid to win the CL. I've called every game correctly since the quarter finals. I should've placed bets.

This one is for the real madrid:

Hasta luego liga!!!

Paris officially champion in a shamefull way today, losing home vs rennes and thanks to guingamp scoring the equalizer in the last minute vs monaco. They have been sucking big time in the last month and a half, ever since the first leg against chelsea. They are like a total different team.

Manchester city practically champions after a 4-0 win. They just need a draw on their last game, home vs the hammers.

So for 2013-14, here are all the winners (you can add your country s results to the list!)

Champion's League:
Real Madrid or Atletico de Madrid

Europa League:
Sevilla FC or Benfica

Spain:
Liga: Atletico de Madrid or FC Barcelona
Spanish cup (copa del rey): Real Madrid

England:
Premier league: Manchester City
English league cup: Manchester City
English cup (FA cup): Arsenal or Hull City

Germany:
Bundesliga: Bayern Munchen
German cup: bayern or dortmund

Italy:
Serie A: Juventus
Italian cup: Napoli

Portugal:
Liga sagres: Benfica
Portuguese league cup: Benfica
Portuguese cup: Benfica or Rio Ave

France:
Ligue1: PSG
French league cup: PSG
French Cup: Guingamp

Turkey:
Turkish League: Fenerbahçe
Turkish cup: Galatasaray

Netherlands:
Dutch League: Ajax
Dutch cup: Zwolle

Belgium:
Jupiler league: Anderlecht or Brugge or Zulte Waregem
Belgian cup: Lokeren

Greece:
Greek League: Olympiakos
Greek Cup: Panathinaikos

Sevilla wins it.

Maybe it'll be better to have home and away matches in the finals instead of only 1 game in random city. Deciding in penalty kicks is not fun.

And there will be a La Liga final. But now RM has no chance. WTF happened to RM? If they would've won his past 3 matches which was what everybody expected they would be in his way to win La Luga on Sunday.

well the barça and the atleti also let tons of important points escape in these last 4-5 stages.
The europa league final used to be in 2 games, but i prefer it in 1. All finals are in 1 game even if previous rounds are home and away in some cups.

a lot of bad luck for atletico this evening. costa and turan got replaced because of injuries and then barca scored at their first attempt with a somewhat lucky shot.
and this is how they probably lost the title.

edit// and how terribly wrong i was. very poor game by barcelona and a great fighting spirit for atletico. kudos to them for wining the title. it would have been a shame to lose it like this.

Haha, went to see a friend that lives next to the PSG stadium to watch the barça atletico, i took the car and even if it was 3 h before the game in paris it was impossible to park so did circles for 40 minutes to find a spot... And when i arrived i had missed the first half of the barça atleti? Glad they won! Hope they beat the real next game.

And arsenal to win a title finally!

I m watching the last stage of the french league, while i m writing saint etienne is third and would be back in the champions league, 30 years after.

Oh fair enough, might be worth keeping an eye on. I like FC Basel. Didn't PSG win another cup as well?

they won the french supercup last summer but i didn't add the national supercups in this summary of the season (also maybe you missread but they won the french league cup, basically the same type of season as man city their twin)

Also, I forgot to add russia, just edited the previous post!

Who do you think will win the CL? It's different from who do you want to win it.

I've had RM down to win it since the quarters and I've had every result correct since the quarters were drawn, so I'm sticking with RM.

If the atleti makes it, they will be among the "happy few" winners of all major 3 european cups. Last year Chelsea joined it, but there are many big clubs such as real madrid, ac milan, inter, united..... that aren't in that very private club!

that's because some major clubs never (or very rarely) play in europa league.
also some of the clubs won the cup winners cup (current europa league). for example real madrid won it in 85,86 when it was cup winners cup, but never participated since it became europa league.

The europa league is the same thing as the uefa cup, it was called this way 3-4 years ago.
If you look at club's trophies uefa cup/europa league is the same.
The cup winner s cup is completely different and will never be won by real madrid.
What the real madrid won is 2 uefa cups straight in 85 and 86 at the time of "la quinta del buitre" and hugo sanchez, nietzsche's wettest mexican dream, nothing to do with the cup winner s cup.
Only juventus, bayern, ajax, barcelona and chelsea have made it (from the top of my head, maybe i forgot one but don t think so)

yeah, i don't know what i was thinking about, lol.
but my point is still valid, since europa league was created some big clubs didn't even participate since they were busy with champions league, hence they didn't even get a chance to win it.
