Posted: Sat Mar 29, 2008 11:08 amI celebrate Christmas with all the usual traditions. I think there really was a man named Jesus who existed. Worshipping him is another thing altogether. That's just something I'd rather not do during the season. If my daughter wants to grow up that way it's fine I won't stop her.

Well the presents represent ones that were given to jesus by the 3 kings so that is religious

Well the presents represent ones that were given to jesus by the 3 kings so that is religious
Sorry but the presents were until very recently given at new year ( Pagan festival ) and have nothing to do with the 3 kings.

We do give presents, but my family has been doing it for generations. Long before it ever became commercialized. And also considering that my family is heavily Roman Catholic, we also go to Midnight Mass (of which, I have helped out on a couple occasions).
