Masters of Terminator II [TPA7 Major] This tournament is open only to premium players. This is a Tournament Players Association (TPA) event, and is governed by its rules, guidelines, and judgements. All are welcome to join and participate in the association. You need do nothing more than join one or more of the TPA events that will be announced each Monday. Terminator game type is a popular variation of the classic settings in everybody's favourite global-domination game.
With the ever increasing number of maps
and game settings that the CC Admin and Community have produced, it certainly takes lots of skill to master each of them and still be able to call yourself a 'Master of Terminator' games.
This tournament will pit players against others on each of their favourite Terminator game settings, and see who is truly
the Master of Terminator!
Tournament Setup show
Rules Each round, you will play a two sets of five 5-player games (1 home and 4 away). Players will be awarded points based on their kills within each of the games. At the end of each round, the *players with the lowest scores will be eliminated from the tournament. Points for each round are cumulative This will carry on until we have the final 5, where two sets of 5 games will be played (1 home for each finalist, and 5 other randomly selected maps used in the tournament). Including the finals, there will be *3-4 rounds. The player with the highest score at the end of the final round wins the tournament! Point Award System 4 points 5 points +1 point For example: Player A kills Player C. Player B kills Player D. Player B kills Player E. Player A kills Player B. Anomalous Wins / Eliminations Wins by fulfilling win conditions (on maps that have them) will give the winner 3 points for every other surviving player. Wins by round limit will give the winner 1 point for every other surviving/deadbeat player.(So it's in your interest to select settings that won't go into the round limit.) Eliminating a deadbeat's troops from the board will count as a normal kill. Deadbeats who aren't eliminated before the end will count as 2 points for the player who made the winning kill / fulfils the win condition.
Home Ground Advantage show
Here's the twist: all points awarded on your home settings will have a 1.5x multiplier
Settings show
Before choosing your settings, do bear in mind that games that end as a result of the 20 Round limit give drastically lower point totals than from kills, so it's in your best interest to avoid settings where that might happen. choose Map: Any non-Beta map (including Random), except Conquer Man, Hive, and USA 2.1 .Escalating , Flat Rate , Nuclear , Zombie or No Spoils )Chained , Adjacent , Unlimited , Parachute or None )Sunny or Foggy All other settings will be fixed Game Type: Terminator 5 Players Automatic Sequential No 20 Rounds
Tiebreaker show
In case of ties, the following tiebreaker rules will be used, in order of priority:Points earned in the current round. Total number of kills. Point totals without Home Ground bonus. If all of the above are equal, all remaining tied players will progress, and more players will be eliminated in the subsequent round.
Signups show
The tournament can take a minimum of 25 players, and has no maximum signups. Signups will close after 4 weeks.include your chosen settings

Notes 1. I reserve the right to change aspects of the game if anything needs changing, to ensure fairness to all players or for the benefit of the tournament.
2. If you wish to withdraw from the tournament at any time, please inform me via personal message or post on this thread.
3. If you do not join the game within 48 hours, you will be replaced.
4. If you are know you are not going to be around for a duration of time, please inform me. If the period of time is short enough, I will delay all of your games.
5. For any questions, problems etc. you may voice it out in this thread or you can PM me.
