Can we win this or at least get in top 3? will there be play-off or this is the last games of this tournament?

We were tied for 3rd before the previous round, so we might get in the top 3.

Yes mate, Top 4 get in the playoffs. Current standings are:

France 174
Greece 155
Japan 153
Sweden 152
UN 147

So we've slipped to 5th after a tough fixture (4-8) vs leaders France while our nearest rivals all won.

The last match of the pool games has us taking on Greece, while Sweden has an easy opponent in Mexico. Japan could possibly slip-up against tough sixth-placed Canada and do us a favour.

We need to beat Greece 11-1 to guarantee a place, or score 7pts more than Japan do.

Tall order, but with all eyes on the game we can do it!

We beat Greece 8-4 (great result against a tough team) but unfortunately Japan managed a tie vs Canada 6-6. So by my calculations we miss out on 4th place and a spot in the semi finals by a mere 3pts. All it would have taken is for Canada to have beaten Japan in the one trips game they lost (a 4pt swing) and we'd have made it through.

Many thanks to all who participated in the squad and to groovy for her tireless dedication.
