I just checked tonight: one more game from map three; four more from map four. Anxious to see if I get to keep going...

Intrepid racers,

Day 4 is complete, Level 1 is over, and it is now time for our first checkpoint. A few teams have burst out to an early lead. Some others are already lagging behind.

For 8 teams, this marks the end of your race. Thanks for coming out, as they say.

For the other 40 teams, get ready to start off across France on your way to the next checkpoint, 9 maps from here: the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.

Here's the exciting news: there's a two-way tie for the 40th and final spot. So we will now wait while two teams battle it out for 40th place.

The updated standings and everything else are available at the top of this thread. Have a look at how you did, and see what's next -- if you made it through.

Invites for Level 2 will start with Map 5 once the tiebreaker has been resolved.

May the best team win!

The scoring of level 1 does it get carried over to level 2?

No, scoring starts again at 0. But you are seeded according to your position at the end of level 1.

Looks really fishy to me - if it was me, I'd report it as cheating.

"Obviously any gross abuse of the game is forbidden. This includes but is not limited to: throwing games or deliberately benefiting from thrown games, intentional deadbeating, holding players hostage, serial teammate killing, hijacking accounts, systematically "farming" new recruits."

Wait, the tournament is dead? Or was just that a reference to Jarems getting knocked out? Hopefully this keeps going, certainly one of the better dubs tournaments ive been in.

oh hell yes. sorry for the delay dudes, was super busy. but we will finish this sucker, whether KP and i are alive or (sadly, in this case) not.
good luck to the 20 teams left. should be a fun race to the finish.
and don't forget, next level the pairs split up and play singles!
