If you watched the Office TV Show in the US, you may remember the game of Flonkerton. Flonkerton was an Icelandic game, and the Office is based in PA. Therefore, for this tourney, we will use the Iceland map and the USA Northeast Map. Due to game load, this is a premium only tourney.
Players will play 2 - (4) player standard game, 2 - (8) player standard game, and 2 - (4) player assassin games on each map. Each player is thus playing 12 games and all games are sent at once. You will be randomly assigned to each game.
Scoring for assassin will be 3 points for winning and -2 for being assassinated. (If your target is killed by someone else, you will still get the three points). Scoring for the 4 player standard games will be 1st - 4 point, 2nd - 3 points, 3rd - 2 points and 4th - 1 point. For the 8 player games, scoring will be 1st - 8 points, 2nd - 7, etc. After all 12 games, the player with the most points will win a platinum medal. 2nd place gets a gold medal, third place a silver medal and fourth place a bronze. In case of a tie, the first tie breaker will be most wins (including if someone killed your target for you). If still tied, we’ll count up just the assassin wins. If still tied, we’ll look at the least number of times you got assassinated. If still tied, a tiebreaker game will be played on USA NE. In addition, each player that enters this tourney may or may not get a participation ribbon.
Settings will be standard, auto, escalating, chained, sunny and a 20 round limit.
