WELCOME to the "Sepp Blatters Super KnockOut":

SEPP BLATTERS SUPER KNOCKOUT:

This Tournament has came about as a direct result of "Super LEAGUE" Adverts being pumped off the Tournament Page. That has been sorted now. But, when I set up a Tournament - THE SHOW MUST GO ON!!!

This INNOVATIVE Tourament will be played under the same Rules as the "SUPER LEAGUE", except, this is a KNOCKOUT..........

SET UP:

Each Round is a 2 Leg KO - 1 HOME Match Up and 1 AWAY Match Up. ALL FOGGY.

If after that your tie is drawn, it goes to Extra Time and Penalties. 1 Game on each Players Home Map, and 1 Game on a Random Map (ALL SUNNY). ET and Penalties are played concurrently, the PENALTIES Result only being used if required.

So that is 3 SUNNY games in total for Extra Time and Penalties.

SCHEDULE:
- Play Match Up 1st Leg (4 Games)
- Play Matych Up 2nd Leg (4 Games)
- Extra-Time and Penalties if required (3 Games)

HOME MATCH:
2 Games on Map of your Choice (Your Home Map)
2 Games on Random Map
You accept Game Invites Last - Can move immediatly taking full advantage of your opponent not getting any snaps! AKA Home Advantage!

AWAY MATCH:
2 Games on Your OPPONENTS HOME Map
2 Games On Random Map
You accept Game invites 1st - Your opponent gets to start as soon as they accept game invites.

OTHER MATCH UP SETTINGS (other than foggy/sunny):
Initial Troops = Automatic
Play Order = Sequential
Spoils = Random Every Round (Esc/FR/Nuc/Zombie/No Spoils)
Reinforcements = Random Every Round (Chained/Adjacent/Unlimited/Parachute)
Round Limit = None

BYES:

We start with 73 Players.

Byes will be distributed dependant on League Position. The higher your position. The more chance of a Bye you have in the Preliminary Round. If you aren't playing in the Super League, you will be playing in the Preliminary Round of the Cup!

After the Preliminary Round, there will be no BYES.

ROUNDS:

- Preliminary Round: 18 Players - 9 are KO'd, 9 Progress
- Round 1: 64 Players - 32 are KO'd, 32 Progress
- Round 2: 32 Players
- Last 16: 16 Players
- Quarter-Final
- Semi-Final
- Final

For existing Super League Players, you must pick your HOME Map for the Cup competition. You can choose a different Map if you want. But, EXCLUDED Maps still count. These are the Maps that are EXCLUDED to ALL EXISTING AND NEW PLAYERS:

SBSKO: 1/4's COMPLETE - SEMI-FINALS SET UP:

And the remaining highlights of the Quarter Finals:

- Ukey (5th Seed) v dowian2 (11th Seed)
Extra-Time: BIG NEWS, the reigning Super League Premier Champion has just been KO'd in Extra-Time by the 11th Seed Dowian2. Hold the front page. When interviewed after the match UKEY put his defeat down to playing a weakened team so that he could concentrate on the League.....

- LLC22 (6th Seed) v allanxo (31st Seed)
Extra-Time: Allanxo's amazing run in the Super League has been brought to an end in ET. The 31st Seed had an amazing Tourney, but he faced a 6th Seed LLC22 in Top form both In the Cup and the League. LL through 2-0 in added time.

- william tennant (4th Seed) v Keefie (7th Seed)
Leg 1: Battle of the Big Guns here, and on his HOME Map. Keefie takes a 3-1 Lead in the Tie. William Tennant is under pressure now…..
Leg 2: This is over, with 1 game remaining, which is 100% going Keefie's way. Bill Tennant crashes out and his quest to win a Tourney from Craig25 continues. He's in good company, I ain't won one myself! Keefie marches on to face LLC22 in the Semis.

SEMI FINAL: The PREVIEW............

Before we take a look at the contenders and the Betting Odds, here are the settings for the Semi's:

Initial Troops = Automatic
Play Order = Sequential
Spoils = Random Every Round - Zombie
Reinforcements = Random Every Round - Unlimited
Round Limit = None

Now for our Semi-Fianlists, nobody wants to be a losing Semi-Finalist............................:

- LLC22 Stalingrad 6th Seed V Keefie Battle For Iraq 7th Seed

This pair, both RISK LEGENDS have only played each other 7 times in 2 player games. Keefie has won 4 versus LL's 3 so nothing to split them. 27 points of a ranking difference pre-tournament doesn't tell us much either. 1 difference in pre-tournament Seedings. This could go either way. Both priced at 10/11 to progress to the Final by Las Vegas Bookmakers utilising the latest analysis techniques.

- dowian2 San Marino 11th Seed V theotherjr Waterloo 21st Seed

And these 2 players have NEVER played each other in a 2 player game!!! 10 Seedings split them though, pre-tournament, Dowian2 was 248 points HIGHER Ranked. Dowian2 with slightly more Tournament experience than TheOtherJr goes into this one as slight favourite. JR priced at 5/4 to make it through, Bookies have Dowian2 Odds-On at 4/6.

ONE FOR THE AWAY PLAYERS IN THE SEMI's:

WOW, a total turn up for the books in the Semi's of the SBSKO!!!

Currently, the AWAY players have won 7 games and the HOME players ZERO!!!!

Here are the highlights:

- LLC22 Stalingrad v Keefie Battle For Iraq
AWAY from Home, LLC22 SCUDS Keefie 4-0 on his Home Map in Iraq. Which coincidentally, is where Saddam Hussein used to keep his CD's...............................All kidding aside, Keefie looks absolutely PUMPED. He needs a miracle to recover from this!!!

- dowian2 San Marino v theotherjr Waterloo
Dowian2 was the AWAY player in the 1st Leg in this Tie. And, he has taken a very commanding lead. Heading into the 2nd Leg and he is 3-1 Up against TheOtherJR. With a HOME Leg to come for Dowian2. JR is not quite shot yet, but, 100% he is in the shit!

2nd Legs will get set up tonight.

SBSKO: The Final!!!

74 Players started the Sepp Blatter Super League, and only 2 remain. An amazing performance from our 2 finalists so survive 622 gruelling Games and 6 Nightmare Rounds of SBSKO RISK!

I now pass you over to our Guest Co-Commentator. Before we look at the final, here are the Semi-Final HIGHLIGHTS:

LLC22 caught fire at the right time and essentially knocked out Keefie with a 4-0 Away victory at the Battle for Iraq in the first leg before finishing the score by settling 2-2 at home.
theotherjr pulled off the comeback upset against Dowian2 in a hard fought series where he went down 1-3 at HOME before levelling 3-1 at Dowian's home of San Marino, and sweeping the extra time 2-0.
Congrats to both Players on an excellent series so far, but there can only be ONE SBKSKO champion!

THE FINAL PREVIEW:

6 Seed LLC22 vs 21 Seed theotherjr
The bookies have installed LLC22 as a small 4/5, -120 favorite, but the smart money's coming in strong on theotherjr. Can he complete his Cinderella story and become SBSKO champion from the 21 seed? It's not been done before, but theotherjr certainly seems capable, having already dispatched the 10 seed (Coors1) and 11 seed (Dowian2) in the tournament. His prowess on his home map of Waterloo is unquestionable where he's amassed an impressive 73% win rate and LLC22 has historically struggled, with a -84 rating across 42 games. It may come down to who can steal an away victory as LLC22 has similarly shimmering 62% winrate on his home of Stalingrad!

FINAL SETTINGS: A 2 Leg Final with Extra-Time and Penalties if still Drawn.

The Final - Leg 1:

This Match Up between the FAVOURITE, LLC22 and, the CHALLENGER, TheOtherJr will decide who picks up their 1st ever TITLE WIN of one of my tournaments. And given the number of games involved and the quality of player participating, that is no easy feat!

Leg 1 HIGHLIGHTS:

The Challenger, TheOtherJR was at HOME on his HOME Map of Waterloo...........

But, it was the AWAY Player, LLC22 who shot into an early lead on one of the Random Maps: France 2.1. The Favourite going 1-0 UP in his AWAY games, a great start.

BUT...........

On his HOME MAP, The OtherJR started battling on Waterloo and turned it around to WIN both and give himself a 2-1 Lead.

AND............

The next game was crucial, a 2-2 result would 100% give the AWAY Player LLC22 the edge. But it wasn't to be.......

THE CHALLENGER WINS THE LAST on Salem's Switch to give himself a great shot at the TITLE in Leg 2.

Craig, while i understand the purpose of this thread, the tournament Forums have rules in place, those are easy and made to keep the area somehow organized for Tournament Mods to keep track of tournament actions.

General: advertising (not sign in), bla-bla, questions, concerns.

Create: Tournament is meant to be ready to run and open for sign in.

Ongoing: Tournament are ready to receive privileges for TO to create games and put the tournament/event in motion.

Completed: Tournament has no more gaming action and prizes awarded to winner(s).

Abandonned: Tournament that failed to achieve the goal and at stoppage with no more action in gaming (opportunity for TO to take over is too late once Abandonned).

Archives: Most likely the topics from General Forum got archived here after long period of inactivity and/or upon demand of topic originator

Private/Auto tournament request: Fairly new section that now allow members, under specific circumstances, to have prizes less tournament privileges, as well as auto tournament idea and for us, Mods, to create as long as there is enough members to make it running smoothly.

Anything that do not fall into one of the above sub-Forum is subject to be move to CC Discussion, callout, or any place that we feel it suit better.
Hope this help you having a better understanding and please remain polite with those who are doing all they can to help you getting your tournament/event up the best way it can be. As said by benga, you are one of the very few TO who received special privileges/treatments in terms of topic amount in the ongoing section, prizes, attention, and other stuff.
