Hey Dave, one of our opponents in Game 14222631 still has not joined. Do you have a virtual cattle prod in your toolbox?

Dave H , as I understand the faast forward rule on of the 3 teams will shave 3 hours off their time and the other 2 teams will have an hour added to their time , and the duration of the fast forward game doesn't matter (except for the 20 turn limit
I wish either my father or my mother, or indeed both of them as they were in duty both equally bound to it, had minded what they were about when....

If 2 player fog game, please allow 12 hour snap courtesy, or post what I could have seen.... Thank you

Yes that's correct, though I have yet to manage one of the fast forward rounds.

Thanks for the message, Brewsie. One of the guys went to Freemium during the delay in getting this tournament running again, so I am allowing him time to get through his outstanding games.

Just an update on Leg 8 and how I propose to proceed.

Firstly, apologies for the screw-up in assuming that the leg games are as well as the fast forward games.

The situation is complex in that one of the guys went freemium during the tournament and, as I was giving out all the games in one go (which I thought was in the spirit of the race rules) it has lead to inevitable delays. I know the rules that greenoaks laid out were for just premium players to join, I think that it is only fair, given the long wait that you guys have had to put up with, that I wave this rule, as it applied at the start of the race and give the team time to complete their games.

So they have three completed games and their remainder under way or awaiting a player. All other games in Leg 7 are completed and, excluding all of their games, the results are as follows:

mattastrophe & schiballs 600
friendly1 & Treslie 705
theheadholes & pittsburgh00 960
QuikSilver & sempaispellcheck 990
Tin & Enormastitz 1005
Flang & Loose 1080
DaveH & General 1170
Gilligan & TheKidsTrumpet 1215
rcfritz & t4mcr53s2 1275
rjhankey & kuma32478 1320

This makes the leader board:
friendly1 & Treslie
mattastrophe & schiballs
rcfritz & t4mcr53s2
Tin & Enormastitz
Flang & Loose
QuikSilver & sempaispellcheck
theheadholes & pittsburgh00
rjhankey & kuma32478
Gilligan & TheKidsTrumpet
DaveH & General

I will now offer the leading three (or more) teams the fast forward game and excluding the leg 8 games of the teams accepting the challenge.

rjhankey and kuma32478 are going to drop out of the tournament for Amazing Race, so we don't have to lose the lowest team.

I am waiting for the Round 7 games to conclude then I will publish the scores and set up the remaining games for Round 8.

Not to be mean, but since this tourney was set up for premium players, can't you insist that he either upgrade his account or Aussie needs to get a new partner? This will be long enough without waiting for games each leg. The delays will only compound the longer this goes on...

Sorry if I've offended anyone, but I just felt the question needed to be asked.

I have made that point to the team - the point made was that this tournament has gone on so long anyway; and not due to the players having had to change their status.

Currently there are 12 outstanding games of which only two are awaiting invites, so they have caught up very well.

There has been a commitment by the team to keep up as fast as they can and, although I have accepted the argument for now, I will revue the situation if it continues to be a problem.

LOL!

I suspect the lead will be greatly diminished after this round, were rolling bricks right now. Might be able to steal a game or two if trades happen at exactly the right times but overall Tres and I are kind of feeling like punching bags this round

thanks Dave for the quick turn around ; that last round featured some awful play on my part and i'm afraid the leaders are out of reach;... on the otherhand , if they could GAIN 15 hours on us in one round......

I'm talking about this post, btw:

Sorry for not responding to this point earlier - it was well spotted by the way!

Not to worry; the totals are correct but the individual game results were, as you say, in error. It sees posted the trial results but did not replace them with the ones with the correct formula - now corrected.

The fast forward sees Aussie and Lyndir edge closer to second place by losing 3 hours. The other two teams each will have an hour added.

I'll publish the amended scores when back in the UK.
