pour l'instant c'est pas super bien parti contre eux! :?

You know nothing John Snow !

well it looks like we are getting raped so far! :? Hope dice luck turns around a bit, case it looks like we will have a lot of points to catch up after batch 1...

I don't agree!

Ret will get the 3 first points, but after that, we look to have a slight advantage. So I see a pretty close 1st set!

Looking like 10 a piece or 11-9 lhdd for first set, very tight indeed! i rekon you would need a 100 games to see a margin with these two clans, hope the "random" doesnt throw up too many shit maps! gl all

jip at the end of Set 1, it looks like 10-9 for LHDD, with the outcome of the Eurasia game pending. Come on, Retribution ! We don't want to start Set 2 lagging behind ! :-)

betiko, you such at results prediction  or perhaps not ... maybe Retribution will give you a beating in Sets 2 and 3 and you would have been right all the way ;) =D>

games started terribly for us! hopefully things changed a bit, cause it really looked like we would have to make a big come back on sets 2 & 3! (you guys did start 3-0 so at that point my prediction wasn't all that bad! :P )
and yeah agree with the predictions, 10-9 for us with eurasia that could go either way, with a very very slight advantage for us in terms of troop drop, but I don't have my fog goggles so no idea what is really going on in terms of overall troop count and strategic positions..

Re: [RC-SF] LHDD vs RET (8-8) of 61

Postby betiko on Fri Oct 03, 2014 8:43 am

I just wanted to continue here the argument regarding age of merchants (if there is still one...)
First off, really sorry, that wasn't my intention. I'm on 3 dubs games with donche (home games therefore with you guys joining last) he's my neighbour so we call each other in the evening to play our turns. We happened to be the ones starting in all 3 games, so i posted on the wall of our opponents of all 3 games to make sure you guys had taken the snaps and that it was ok for us to start.
I got a positive answer for 2/3; and I assumed (wrongly) that it was everyone's reflex to take a snap in games that you join last and that is just starting.
I'm a big BOB and maprank fan; and sadly those don't work at all since last august. The panel interface has a built in snapshot button, you can also chose the autosnap option. Even when I was using BOB and I was on a device with no BOB i would turn on the panel to take a snap and then switch it back off.
Anyway, all this to explain that from my point of view there is no real reason for someone to join last and not to take a snap directly since we all have the possibility of doing it wether you are on CC through your phone, tablet, pc or whatever.
Since we were playing all our turns with donche, we figured that there was at least 90% chances that trevor and santa tank had taken the snap (like the rest of the clan did after joining last in the other games); and that in the worse case scenario if they didn't, we could just copy paste the log+explain the adjacent teritories the were able to see. This is something I have witnessed many times and that is never a problem for opponents. After all, with the copy pase of the log you get much more information than you do with just a pre-game snapshot.

Anyways, seems like this wasn't taken very well from retribution members. Our intention never was to disrespect the 12h fog rule; it was just a bad assumption based on the fact that all other retribution members take snaps once they join a game last, and that there is no possible reason for not taking a snap after joining a game as it is now a built in option (even if you don't use the panel). We took the decision to go for it as in the unlikely worse case scenario of ret not taking the snap after joining there was the log copy-paste option.

In conclusion, we left you guys with all the information in the chat and there was really no bad intention on our part, just a wrong assumption, and I thing you can only blame me for letting a leprechan roll those crazy dice. I hope you understand better the situation..

I didn't follow the story, betiko, but if you did report your move and the adjacent territories of the region you took, which would have been visible before you did your turn, within a reasonable time so that our players can see it before their first move, it is all fine by me.

a few minutes after playing the turn conde told me your guys didn t take the snap after joining, so i immediately copy pasted the chat + reported all adjacent terts.
A few exchanges happened in the game chat in the next minutes, including kuma showing up to qualify it as a "bushleague move". I just don t really get what the fuss is about, so I just continued the discussion in here to avoid spamming the game chat.
