Lack mentioned that if the performance tweaks to the Database Server done by the hosting company did not improve performance enough, he was going to investigate further and more extensive upgrades to the Database Server.

I was updating database records for the new Das Schloss map - it had a temporary effect on server performance.

maby you guys should stop adding so many damn maps,or get rid os some,maybe it will help with lag.......so much game lag today once again

To be more specific the lag comes when searching for active and waiting speed games. Takes a full 5 to 10 seconds to load the page if not longer. I hope this can be fixed. Other than that the lag or lack of seems ok.

Lackattack may have an announcement about some server upgrades in the near future to help alleviate further lag issues.

What search criteria did you use in those cases?

I go to game finder, insert in Speed games, waiting or active.. nothing else..

no lag today.

I'm not noticing anything of the kind. Are you sure it's not a local issue ?
Also, is it general slowness or the occasional timeout ?
