The wait is going to be a little longer -- the group tiebreaker is a little bogged down, it's in round 17 and we have a ways to go before getting to the 50 round limit. The first player eliminated will still round out the LB1 group of players, so I'm waiting on that. The last set cashed was 65 troops, so it should be uphill from there.

Update: the group tiebreaker for WB1 is now in round 34, the last set cashed was 170 troops! Shouldn't be too much longer before someone gets nervous, or we reach the 50 round limit. I'm definitely considering a 20 round limit on all future tiebreaker games to avoid this from happening again. I'm impressed though, the 4 players involved have played a little more than one round per day over the past month, they're keeping it moving along.

The tiebreaker has reached round 49 out of 50 ... so we're close to getting this tournament moving forward again! Any future tiebreakers will likely be 20 rounds so we can avoid this situation again.

babagonosh won in Winners' Bracket Round 5, in a close tiebreaker against kirilko to secure his spot in the Championship. We now have 4 others battling it out in Losers' Bracket Round 5 to determine who comes back to join him!

We have the championship matchup determined -- babagonosh from the Winners' Bracket, and chugger13 recorded a win in 9 rounds in the Losers' Bracket Round 5. dgkb99 is probably going to record two wins both in 10 rounds, but chugger13 will get the nod for having the shortest victory. Good luck!
