It is going to be very close. Currently Americas has 42 vs OutWorld's 41.
Even within the teams it is very tight.

Fight! Fight! Fight!

During the 2nd round we could (highly unlikely) see someone from a team drop to 0 (or -1) points. Although by the 4th round it should be happening at a decent clip [especially as teammates have to start picking up the slack and risking themselves in more games].

The raises the following question: Will there be mid-round eliminations (once someone drops below 1 point, they're out?). Are you out if you don't have any points to risk? [Meaning you are disqualified from any current games]. If so, and you have a shot at winning - drag that loss out as long as possible !!!

An interesting thought, I must say.
Originally, everyone was going to start with 0 points, so it isnt so much a matter of "risking" points, just a simplified win/loss tally.
So going under 0 points won't really have much effect outside of the math.

Argos is looking good for a close 2nd for the crosshairs. I'm lovin' this tourney Gozar. I know this one will take a long time, hope that this tourney has a sequal in the works though.

If we get through one, I will definitely run this kind of tournament again.

The scores are very tight, 10 points isn't a lot to separate two teams. It is nice to have a tight race though.

Points Update

Gozar,

Game 1 (Road, non top 2 finish): -1
Game 2 (Road, 2nd place finish): +1
Game 3 (Home, non top 2 finish): -2
Game 4 (Road, non top 2 finish): -1

So, that means 10 - 1 + 1 - 2 - 1 = 7
You have me listed at 8.
The total for our team is correct at 43.

Thanks I fixed it.

When I transferred it over to the computer I only subtracted 1 instead of 2 for AoM I think is what happened.
