I would enjoy a serious dicussion but it just doesn't seem to happen on here.

Concede? Who does that? So how about if we all got together and decided to take a discussion on the existence of god seriously, would you join in? Would you be serious? Similar to the recent thread where everyone revisited 9/11 with Juan, we could all present our reasoning for and against god. Do we think everyone could do that? I will not do any ridiculing, though I will not hold back on my opinion of god or religion. Seriously.

You just don't understand the nature of God as He is unknowable, unthinkable, and incomprehensible. You just have to believe because a group of patriarchal power hungry decided 2000+ years ago that people were having too much fun and if they didn't think of some dodge to get out of working in the fields/shepherding goats/building pyramids and sit around a temple all day while the other saps "tithed" to feed them, empower them, and to tell them all their dirty little secrets, then those same lazy bastards would have to actually get off their asses and work.
