From my direct dealings with Wicked, and from my formal study of psychology, it quickly became clear to me that Wicked's problem is more than a mere character flaw here and there. It is actually a full-blown personality disorder. One of the things that convinced me was reading her post trying to use Lyme's Disease as an excuse for her actions. People with a personality disorder such as Wicked's are master manipulators as well as unable to see themselves ever truly being in the wrong. When it becomes clear they can no longer offer a remotely plausible explanation for morality of their decisions they will stretch to any extreme to justify their actions. Blaming Lyme's Disease is just such an extreme.

What no one has mentioned, and my chief concern going forward, is that despite Wicked's perma-banning she may still have considerable ability as well as motivation (a result of her personality disorder) to do further harm to the site. She will probably not give up easily and will no doubt attempt to return under other identities. There is no question of the possibility that someone with her personality disorder could come to truly regret her actions, or come to sincerely believe she brought the justifiable consequences upon herself, and then consider truly reforming. To hold out this hope is precisiely the self-delusional thinking Wicked is hoping to gain by. Power (through manipulation) is all that people with this personality disorder are truly after.

To protect the integrity of this gaming experience for us all, I think gratitude to lach for his vigilance and for his quick, decisive action on all of our behalf is clearly in order. I hope and call on those who know or can figure out what further harm Wicked can do to this site to help Lach by keeping him informed. She has come out as an open enemy of this site and is clearly a force to be reckoned with -- to all of our (the honest customers) loss.
