Well, the Browns are off the hook and the number of winless teams grows smaller.

For the record, I've been predicting the Bucs to stay winless longest and the Saints to stay undefeated longest.

LOL . . . the Bills are lucky they've already won a game because they don't look capable of doing it now.
That was a real barn burner in Buffalo today, decided with a very dramatic field goal attempt.

The Rams best chance to finally win one may be at Jacksonville next week, otherwise
they're pretty much screwed until mid December and that's at Tennessee. I guess it's
really quite possible that game will be billed as The Battle of the Beatens, except
the Titans have a date with Buffalo before then.

Wow. the Falcons simply whipped up on the Niners.

Also way to go Bengals and Broncos. I swear those two teams probably already have enough games decided in the last few minutes or over time than many teams will have all year.

A good game for Denver but it was really a day for the birds
as the Falcons, Seahawks, Cardinals and Eagles dominated.

The margin of error between undefeated and a couple loses isn't much.

The Bengals scored a TD through the air with 22 seconds remaining
and the Dolphins did it on the ground with 6 seconds to spare.

Although the Broncos are already a lock for the Super Bowl (kidding!!!! Geez!!!), I'd say the Bengies are really freaking surprising. Who woulda thunk they'd do so well!

This is the first time Brett Farve has started an NFL season 5-0.

Texans @ Bengals I really thought this game was a lock
Lions @ Packers
Rams @ Jaguars in OT
Ravens @ Vikings . . . Vikes go 6-0
Giants @ Saints
Browns @ Steelers
Panthers @ Bucs
Chiefs @ Redskins . . . upset pick . . Kansas City finally wins one
Eagles @ Raiders . . . Russell only managed to toss 2 picks today
Cards @ Seahawks . . . does this count as an upset too?
Titans @ Patriots ...hard to believe the best team in the regular season last year is still winless!
Bills @ Jets Buffalo gets 6 picks and prevails in OT
Bears @ Falcons
Broncos @ Chargers . . . Denver's special teams run right by San Diego.

10 - 4 . . . 58 - 32

It's the quest for perfection that never ends, because it's rarely observed and so hard to achieve. They're only human. I do believe Denver is playing well enough to win this one going away as San Diego has certainly been lacking a complete effort early on. I'm just giving them credit for being on their home turf and "needing" this one more than the Broncos.

Orton has certainly been a good fit, regardless of how ugly their retro uniforms are.
FEAR THE STASH!

The Saints are driving it with ease on the Giants right now. Still early in the game though.

Slow start for the Giants but they finally stopped New Orleans from scoring on a drive (they had scored on al of their first 4) and seem to be settling into what looks like it's gonna be a shootout.

27-17 New Orleans.

Edit: of course I would say that one minute before manning fumbles and gives the ball away to NO in the red zone...

I don't see the Giants having a victory over the saints anytime soon.

Not today it's a big gap to make up against a very talented offense. I don't expect them to go down quietly though, make some half time adjustments and hopefully make it a better game.

Or they could make Eli Manning look like Pre-super bowl Eli Manning.

Don't worry Jamarcus Russel will throw 3 picks taken back for touchdowns any second now.

Vikings win a tight one and stay perfect at 6-0
a Ravens' 45 yard field goal attempt sails wide left as time expires.

Jesus, what is it about Minnesota and everyone they play choking? I'd really prefer that they have a loss before they go up against the Bears.
