I have beaten the spry young man known as tamaynet 2 -1 in our match...I've updated the Ladder...

I've successfully beaten back Vinyl-Taliban's assault on my position...managed to take all three games.

Attention SoC 1v1 Ladder Players

With the voting completed and the Ladder scheduled for a reset, I am locking the Ladder from any future challenges. All matches currently being played still need to be reported once they are complete.

The DIBS challenge that MGSteve currently holds will remain. No other DIBS can be called until after the Ladder resets.

The Ladder will reset once ALL current matches are complete.

More info on how the Ladder will be reset to come at a later date.

Looks like the ladder reset is my only chance to climb the ladder. I have to change my diaper now.

That is not fair, I pm as required, posted as required, and you say just for fun, not right. so you locked the ladder, but our match should still count. You ask us to be active so I am, and get punished cause of some ladder reset. can't you post our match results after you reset the ladder. I see you post a comment about no challenges, did'nt see it before I challenged Philbro

Why not let the battles continue while everyone is waiting for the Top Dogs to resolve thier matches?

When the ladder resets it all gets wiped anyway ... so what is the harm?

Originally...I was hoping not to have any NEW challenges taking place on the Ladder. Once the Ladder reset takes place, any challenges that "carry over" might give someone an unfair advantage.

But...after reading the posts and PMs I got, I think moving the challenges from the "old" Ladder to the "new" one will add a bit more excitement.

Think about this...currently, you can only challenge up to three spots ahead of you....So you go ahead and challenge Joe Schmo who is three rungs ahead of you. Well...the reset takes place and Jow is now 12 spots ahead of you! That adds a bit of excitement, I think.

So....

The Ladder is unlocked. I'll transfer any challenges going on to the new Ladder.

Interesting thought there Eric, if that were to occur, I have np wherever I end up on the ladder, thx for letting our match stay legit. whatever little quirks there are to the ladder reset, will sort themselves out. see you all in the battlefield

Once the iAmCaffeine v MGSteve match is complete is when the Ladder reset will take place...

I will share now that this will be a complete Ladder reset using random.org...but there will be a twist to be announced at the time of the reset.

I think the twist is the top 3 go straight to the bottom and re-work their way up, but they receive medals for being such good sports about it

I was under the impression that the top three or four positions wouldn't change? I may have missed something though as I was inactive in the forums for a while. It seems likely I'll beat MGSteve 2-0 so I won't be creating a home game.
