Nope. It's for when I click on 'View Your Posts' which is the easiest/fastest way of seeing when anything has been added to threads in which I've contributed (or in which I'm interested, hence the bookmark in this thread).

That could get old really fast if more people start doing it.

Updated. Only one phase of the CL4 is in here. Also, check the database to make sure all of your COMPLETED wars are included and that your clan tags are exactly the same. To be listed in the ranking the completed war MUST be moved to the completed thread. I may be doing the rankings a day or two early for the newsletter so wars moved to completed on the last day of the month may not be included.

I think you have missed a lot of CL4 results. You have only one division included:

So did it make much of a difference? Think it could've impacted OTP as one of the newer clans with less weight anyway?

I didn't see much difference. Maybe I'll gather all of the CL4 results and enter them, then do it without and see what the impact is. If it's not very much we may need to discuss the future of what's included here.

I'd like to see (in the future) all 1st round CL events, C Cup events, etc entered by round inside of whatever's been moved to completed. (by round 1, 2, 3 as a whole etc)

That way, half clans don't get their results incl when the other half doesn't for the same clan event. If the entire round isn't completed the round shouldn't be entered in fragments.

But the object is for the ranking to be as accurate as possible. "Fairness" doesn't really come into it. As soon as a relevant result is decided, it should be entered into the scores.

The ranking is updated once a month, it's only a tiny snapshot at a single moment in time. If it were updated real time I could see that, since it's snapshots (some results are delayed weeks by the time its moved to completed and emtered) which doesn't accurately show all clan results at once, just those moved.

Realistically, those major events results are all similar "snapshots" of participants competing at the same time and why should one result be added before the other?

Like KOA vs TFFS, it was completed mar 27 but wasn't moved before CC3 so even tho accuracy would show that at the time CC3 started we were actually ranked higher by a few ranks then the tournament shows, it won't be entered here until May 1st. A month+ after the war and after new vacations, recruits, personnel changes etc can take place and not really reflecting the clans current strength etc. due to a minor timing issue.

So accuracy maybe the goal but ultimately just a snapshot, so for specific events my point was those things should be included @ the same time instead of some results April update, some may, and some possible in June all for the same round of the se tournament.

Were all of these completed but not 'moved' results used to calculate the CC3 rankings as promised by Chuuck ? It would certainly have affected ours if they weren't as we beat VDLL 9-3 in the clan league and they had just lost to KOA. We were only 1 point behind them on the latest FD400, so that would have certainly changed.

Any completed but not moved were NOT INCL in the CC3 seedings or F400.

I understand the frustrations, folks. I'm not trying to stick it to anyone. I don't particularly enjoy doing the ranking but I didn't want it to die so here I am. There is NO Way I'm going to watch each thread and keep up with what is finished and what isn't before they are moved. If there is an issue with the speed in which they are moved, take it up with the CDs. I think alt1978 is looking for more job duties as CD. It probably wouldn't have been a big deal to hold off on the CL4 results so if you think I dropped the ball, so be it.

On a side note, I must say to cheme that I thank you from the bottom of my heart for adding the completion dates on the threads. My life got a whole lot simpler when you started doing that.

I understand there is a lot of work involved here mate I'd rather see them included then have it die, I was just giving a "wishful thinking list" / feedback.

Appreciate what you have done, are doing and will do. A suggestion - a new thread that starts with a copy of the first post in this thread, rankings as of 04-01-12, and then a second post that shows the rankings as of the update date- 05-01-2? Hopefully that would be relatively easy for you to do, with only the results of the most recent clan wars to be processed, and that format, a periodic update of rankings starting with the last posted ranking followed by a post of the new ranking, could make it easier for you to do periodic updates and give the clans and all CC'ers a moving target to check out frequently-

For example, my clan, Spelunkers of Hell has been going though a fair bit of reorganizing and a few wars recently. We were relatively happy to see ourselves ranked as 33rd as of April 1 2012 and, having completed a few wars since, look forward with anticipation to an update to see how we have moved - up from 33rd April 1st to the top 25 May 1st??? That would be cool. And we can look forward to how our upcoming clash with TOFU, which was ranked 4th April 1st, might affect our rankings- move us to the top 10??

Updated today. I put last months and March's ranking in a spoiler for you guys that wanted it...good idea, by the way. March's will not be totally accurate since some wars that weren't included the first time will be in there this time but it's close.

should check your +/- column... even after adjusting for removing THOTA it seems we (IA) should be +1 for passing AOC?
