Actually, trench with escalating has played more games than all of the other card types. Of course, I designed this tournament with only a foresight of how it could play out, so it wouldn't surprise me if there are better settings.

I think it depends on the map, but I like the way it pairs with no spoils.

As I understand it:

5 player games throughout the tournament. Each round (save for the final) will be a 3 games series will be played on these settings:

Points will be awarded as follows:
1st place; 8, 2nd place; 5, 3rd place; 4, 4th place; 3, 5th place; 2.
Points are not cumulative between rounds.
In the event that games are ended by round limits, points will be awarded by rankings of most troops (As CC does to determine the game's winner).

The top 2 of each group will advance to the next round. The final round will be series of 5 games.

Of course. We're just waiting for all of the games to finish. There are still 8 active games, most of which will be stopped by the round limit soon.

Game 10990985 is over, so that round for our group is over. I think Qoh and I go to the next round but I don't trust my math and am obviously biased. So, no probs, but can we get an update on the scores and who advances?

Awesome! Looking forward to the tiebreaker. It'll be tough.

Just waiting on one more group to finish...they are VERY slowly working their way to round 30.

Yeah that was a crazy move. I totally forgot you were the coordinator while i was playing with you.
Glad you lost because then there will be no chance of some claiming a fix because the coordinator won! Kidding!

Is there a tiebreaker if two people in the same group finish with the same amount of points?

There is, but your group doesn't need it. You won by two points, and only the winner moves on, not second place.
