Not yet. Middle East could end soonish. Optimus and C_FOUR have almost finished me off in Germany, so that shouldn't last long either.

Thanks, I needed a win pretty badly to pick up my spirits. I've been on a bit of a losing streak.

As I figure it:
1. argos must win or tie in the phillipines
and
2. Aerial Attack must place 3rd or worse in San Francisco
or
argos will be eliminated.
If both of these conditions are met, then petewins138 and argos will play a 1v1 game to see who is eliminated.

(I may have made a mistake in the math, if so, feel free to correct me.)

The math was a wee bit tougher than you thought !!!

argos is eliminated unless:

I fall (Islands = 38) and argos finishes 2nd or better (Americas = 39+) - then petewins1368 is out

I finish 2nd (Islands = 40) and argos wins (Americas = 40) - then loser (Coleman vs vykingsfan64) plays petewins1368 in a 1 v 1 elimination game.

I finish 2nd or better (Islands 40+) and argos finishes 2nd (Americas 39) - then argos, Coleman, and vykingsfan64 will all have 6 points (3-person elimination or round robin 1 v 1?).

I win (Islands = 41) and argos wins (Americas = 40, argos = 7) - then Coleman and vykingsfan64 will play a 1 v 1 elimination game.

I win (Islands = 41) and argos wins (Americas = 40) AND Demon666 finishes 3rd or worse and taxmanjile finishes 3rd or worse (Outworld = 40) - then loser (Coleman vs vykingsfan64) plays Demon666 in a 1 v 1 elimination game.

NOTE: It's extremely highly unlikely that the last scenario could occur, but this now makes the Outworld players have a slightly vested interest in the outcome of the games (more than just gaining points towards the next round)

EDIT: With Lector's 2nd place finish, those unlikely scenarios just became a wee bit more likely (but argos is big trouble)

EDIT 2: Gozar has confirmed that these are the correct scenarios

Wow that was some mind boggling math there Aerial. It hurt my head and I didn't understand it all but that's ok. I'm pretty sure Argos is the one that'll get the boot. Hope we can pick up the pace after the elimination I feel like it has been ages since I played a long walk game. I think you can tell how much I like this tourney though, constantly posting on these boards and all.

Go Gozar Go, haha.

Wow! Thanks for the math there! Still a wide variety of possibilities, I see.

I do hope the next rounds will go faster. I plan on starting the next round once all games in the previous round have started. So you could be in all five games in a little over a week.

Its been over a month. I had seriously forgotten about it. I guess I hadn't realised just how 'long' this game is going to be...
