The extent of human stupidity never ceases to amaze me.

Creationists: please die and go to your wonderful heaven, leaving rational, sane human beings to inhabit the earth.

Is intelligence all that matters? I would rather have a kind creationist on this earth than someone like you who wishes death on others.

Also, there's some nice irony here. You are implying that you are smarter than all creationists, yet your generalization of creationists, along with your supreme ego, mark you as one of the more small-minded members of the human race.

WM is out of country on business, so I doubt he's got a ton of time to update this particular thread. I'd give him a few weeks.

Did you just bump a thread that I won?

Is it immoral to talk smack about a thread like this?

I see it's your "most-posted in"-thread too!

 I had not noticed that. Rather appropriate, I suppose. Widow and I had a bit of back and forth...

Well hello everyone. I did not know this thread was still active. With all of the time I was away on business and other things it has been a while since I posted. The reason I did not keep up was that I felt people would not like that fact that it has been so long and that I would be bumping an old thread.

Is there desire to continue? Because if there I will be happy to look over anything I missed these past pages and start the discussion back up.

And once I did enjoy the discussion we were having. The hard part was trying to juggle everything life has thrown at me.

Dude, why would we not like that? We like discussing things. If anything I'm feeling a little sad there haven't been a lot of great threads lately like this one.

Then at the apparent desire to continue with this discussion (at least by Snorri1234) I will read through the pages I have missed and compile a list of the topics I believe I have missed and post a list. Then I will again attempt (with hopefully many less words) the reasons I feel certain ways about each topic, or respond to a comment made by another poster.

Again thanks for everyones patience in this discussion and I look forward to the debate to continue. But just be aware that I will most likely continue to have times where I cannot post every day about TONS of new things. With work, family and the foundry, I have plenty going on.

I am glad to talk about this because it is something I feel strongly about (as do many of you) so I will do my best to keep on top as much as possible.
But to help with proper orderly discussion, could people please not continue to add new topics to the discussion or go off on tangents. It makes it hard for this 1 man debate team to keep up and discuss each topic if there is not a lot of cohesion in the thread.

Thanks
WM

That is freaking hilarious. Do you have a picture of a guy with a beard made into a motorcycle? HAHA

P.S. I apologize for going against my own request for wanting everyone to stay on topic. I will try not to do it again. :D

I miss the discussion as well. I enjoy the debates it is just hard for me to type everything I want to say. I am sure most everyone else agrees. Anytime I have these discussions with others face to face, it is always easier to talk. Plus it is easier to manage off topic tangents.

Well I am still waiting for you to actually make the case FOR Creationism rather than simply argue against evolution - note that disproving evolution does not prove creationism :D

humans and dinosaurs clearly walked together. and i live in arizona and the grand canyon is clearly the work of noah's flood. all you need is blind faith, and an ability to not question the obvious.

He is correct...here are paintings that prove it.

Obviously these works of art were created from the many stories of old, handed down from generation to generation and written in book form.

Therefor they must be true, as nobody would fabricate, embellish or write something that isn't true!

Hallelujah!

It's worth noting that evolution has not been proved to be true - and the 'obvious' scientific explanations have been wrong many times before. E.g. the Earth being flat

Also even if we accept that evolution may have happened that doesn't explain the universe coming into existance, we currently have no real scientific explanation for why this happened.

I do believe in God and also love this sort of discussion but I think it is important to make it clear that this isn't the most important part of Christianity (or other religions for that matter), maybe we can set up a thread to discus the other beliefs etc. etc.

Sorry if I've been repeating things already mentioned or am taking this off on a complete tangent - if so just PM me or ignore

Yes we do. They just haven't been proven yet.

Usually I'd direct you to the Jesus Freaks usergroup, but I NEED MOAR THREADS!
