scoring for the Great Lakes vs. Midwest tourney has been updated...Cornell still leads, but Iowa State has cut the margin to just two points as we head into semifinals in most brackets.

We are moving this weekend, so I'm in internet limbo for a few days...I may squeeze in one more update late tonight, but it will be pretty sparse until we get internet hooked up at the new house early next week.

still waiting on a couple duals to go final in the Week 8 set...but I've posted ongoing results for the week 9 duals (final regular season dual)

Iowa State takes a slim lead in the Great Lakes vs. Midwest tourney, while Vexx of Cornell wins the first weight-class title (149) in that tourney.

Standings and duals scoresheets are updated...early wins to Cornell and Oklahoma...the final duals and the last tourney are moving along nicely...once I get internet hooked up at the new house, I should be able to post final weight-class rankings and start the NCAA tourney qualifying.

The top 28 ranked wrestlers will get in automatically for the NCAA nationals bracket, while ranks 29-44 will battle in a two-tier qualifier to decide the remaining four spots into the 32-wrestler championship bracket...10 total brackets (one for each weight) in the NCAA Nationals tourney.

Thanks for your patience on this tourney everyone...our move is complete and internet is hooked up, so I'll get back up to speed. All fresh matches have been sent out and brackets/duals have been updated.

Only a handful of regular season matches remaining. I'll be working on updating the final weight-class rankings over the next few days and am hoping to start NCAA qualifiers by the weekend -- top 28 ranked wrestlers gain an auto berth to Nationals, while the remaining 16 wrestlers will have to win a pair of qualifiers to get a place in the final brackets.

Our last regular season tournament is about finished and only one match left active in the final set of duals...I should be able to post NCAA Championship brackets and qualifying matches within the next day or two.

There are only a couple of regular season bouts still active, so I've started work on the NCAA Championships tournament, the main event for this CC tourney -- The winner of the NCAA Championships will be declared the winner of the tourney.

The top 28 ranked wrestlers in each weight class earned an automatic berth into the main draw (see 2nd post on this thread), while the bottom 16 in each weight class go into qualifying to decide the last four spots (win two qualifiers and you're in)....those qualifier matchups are being post now in the first post.

I just sent out the batch for the 125 pound qualifiers and will be posting the rest of the weight classes over the next 48 hours.

133 pound qualifiers have been sent out...more to come tonight...also I'll be updating the final regular season rankings and posting them before the weekend.

Qualifiers for 125 through 157 pounds have been sent out...hoping to get all the upper weight classes started today (Wednesday)

I'm totally lost as to where we are in this tournament. Are we almost ready for nationals? If so, can you make the team scoreboard easy to find. I'm having a hard time with all of the different links. Not sure if anyone else is too.

We are in qualifying for the NCAA Championships...the top-ranked (top-28) wrestlers in each weight class earned auto berths into the main draw, while the bottom 16 are battling it out in qualifiers to get into the NCAA tournament. Those are the bouts that are going out now.

Once we get through those qualifiers, I'll start up the NCAA Nationals tournament, complete with a tourney preview and a full scoreboard that will be the top post on this thread. sorry for any confusion...I know it's a lot of links.

I'll update main draws with the qualifiers once all four in that weight class have been decided.

We're getting close to the start of the NCAA championship tourney.

The regular season is officially finished...see standings (underneath the NCAA qualifier brackets). Ohio totaled the most regular-season points with 50, followed closely by its Midwest rival Cornell with 47. After that you have West champion Oregon State and Great Lakes champion Northwestern each with 42.

Iowa State won the Great Lakes vs. Midwest tournament with 150.5 points.
