I see what you're saying, but my point is that lineup alone isn't enough. There's an art (or science) to clan challenges, picking teams and maps and figuring out matchups, plus getting a disparate group of people to work well together within a game, often with little experience playing with each other. I think the Kort-G1 challenge proved that there's more the being a top clan than having a roster of elite players.

I think that's a fair point, and it fits into my general sentiment about CC, which is that everything comes down to the balance between difference in skill level and difference in luck. All the amazing dice in the world won't help two noobs beat CoF and Dako, or Scott and laddi, or Blitz and BW, but pit any of those teams against each other and the slightest edge in terms of overall good fortune (in drop, cards, or dice) will probably be enough to turn the tide.

Actually looking back at that challenge, there is nothing I or anybody from KORT would do differently. We played mostly simplish maps and dice played a big roll there. When someone like Prism goes 3-5 overall while playing as he normally would that says a lot if you ask me. Dice happen sometimes, and we could back and forth about it, but they do happen.


P.S. Everybody will finally get what they want in an Epic Match up. KORT vs TOFU. Just remember TOFU taste gross.

Epic eh? We'll be lucky to fill all of the games -- most of us are on vacation or are taking a break from CC right now.

You do know there is a break before the match starts. I am sure you will get the games filled up.

When did you beat KORT? Do you mean the league semifinals?

This will get updated soon enough, after all the league stuff got done, I started working on splitting this into several segments.

Wars-League-Other Events-Comprehensive etc.

yah, it is not a challenge, but i think he puts it into a formula that takes a little affect on this ladder

It is in this one if it is finished. The CCup will fall under other events based on the large gap in ranking, which will ruin some clan's OWP.

We at Memento Mori would like to be ranked at the bottom please. That way the only movement is up.

Is it possible to have an update on this? Would help significantly in deciding the Power rankings as well.

If you look at the top post this page, JP says this has been rejected. So I don't think it will be updated.

Still, it may have given a nice indication if all that needs to be done is input some values

I agree. Whilst it may not be perfect it does serve as a good point of reference. Without info such as this the Power Rankings depend on people doing quite a bit of history checking to see what has gone down over the past 12 months.
