Back on topic, I do kind of think these threads about rating women are kind of sexist. Let's be absolutely fair here- this isn't about their abilities as an actress.
As creepers points out, the quality of "acting" is very much a secondary or tertiary feature to the colour of her hair and the quality of the surgical work she has had performed.

What I don't get is why so many people are apparently proud enough about their masturbation material as to share it.

The weird thing is though, with the huge number of porn stars with perfect bodies/faces/whatever out there acting and the scenario actually start playing a big part, for me at least.

I understand what you're saying about acting skills seeming to be taking a back seat in the value of judging here but.. Due to the nature of the media in question wouldn't the hot one be the better actress?

Fair point, but I disagree. Not simply because I believe that the hotness of a woman is more than simply in her appearance, but that acting ability isn't really being judged here. Would you, for example, consider any of the posts so far to be examples of women acting hot? Or would you say that they are posted as being sexually attractive regardless of acting ability?

I would say in many of the photos the women are posing in ways that make them look hotter than if they were captured in a more candid picture. That's not acting perhaps but does require a certain amount of skill.

Porn isn't objectification as such. That's not what objectification means.
When someone, male or female, decides that they want to start in a porn film, it's their decision, as long as they're not being coerced in it and are adults, it's their choice to make.
Objectification is not about looking at naked people fucking and getting off on it. That's just normal human sexuality. Objectification is when you view another person as nothing more than a tool, or object, for satisfying your own desires. Only the people who do porn can say if they feel objectified by it - and if they do, they probably should stop doing it.
Now, to be sure, there's lots of problematic elements in mainstream porn. But that doesn't mean all porn is inherently bad or somehow degrading. People like sex. People also like to get sexually aroused by sexy imagery, and this has been true ever since mankind invented cave paintings.

I disagree. My favorite (Torri Welles) is certainly hot, but I don't think she would be "the hottest" or "most attractive" by the standard definitions. She's the best porn actress because she is convincing. Maybe she really does get off... I have no idea... But when I watch her, I am convinced she is really into what she is doing. It's partially because they're in more images that are telling you they are attractive. A while ago tattoos were not attractive on women, now they are so common I don't even notice unless she has a full sleave or somthing.
