Also, this is my first game and I wanted to watch a bit to see how it is done.

To me, the most suspicious thing this far is the Shield business. I get the feeling he's either scum or a goof/troll and that more than a few of you are thinking the same.

So why are sheepofdumb and freeze defending/helping him? I don't think anyone would care to help a goof/troll (especially if he's been known to do it other games as well) – makes me think it could be scum protecting scum.

In addition to this, freezie's attempt(?) to start a wagon on Streaker gets him my vote for now.

unvote, vote freezie

To you, maybe, but If no one is here to shows the ropes and help the new players, mafia will slowly disapear once players start to leave if there is no one to replace them.

I am here to help newbies, even though I am not a great player myself. But I am not defending his role in any reason.

As far as your vote since I am ''trying to start a bandwaggon'' suit yourself, nothign to say to that. But then, why don't you FoS everyone who has the first vote on another player?

I posted my oppinion, voted someone...However I respect your oppinion.

Alright..

Vote: Streaker

Not a joke vote...Simply the 5th name of a very quick growing wagon, which is half and a quarter reason for a scum to hide somewhere in the wagon.

Didn't make sense. He's the 5th name of a wagon and hiding. So he's got my vote.

I don't buy this freezie. Where is this unspoken rule that the 5th person on a bandwagon must be scum, especially when he needs 8 more votes to be lynched?

Vote Freezie

Where did I say there was an unspoken rulke about it? He is simply voting for a reason that isn't one, and he is continuing the bandwaggon. Shame of me for metagaming, but last time he did that, he was scum Godfather. you're poiting out the 5th vote, I simply implied he was strecthing an easy bandwaggon. No unspoken rules...-.-

I can understand the point where shield is acting like this in all of his games. He seems to have a talent for attracting early game attention...

He might indeed be too easy of a lynch, but we should at least keep an eye on him.
Unvote

If we wanna pressure the inactives into posting, there isn't a lot of time left. But if we pick 1 of them to hang, I'd go with campin_killer. He is never around...

Besided this, I don't think freezie should be pressured too much for his defence of shield. There are 2 sides to him, and freezie makes good points about shield showing interest and a willingness to play (albeit borderline trolling from time to time...)

Vote campin_killer
though i'm willing to switch to another inactive

Sorry for the lack of posts, been busy (with RL/12 gauge).

I agree with Freezie, you do need to help inexperienced or new players. It's important to do this carefully though because they can hide behind it.

Shield admits to wanting to experiment with 'bandwagons', which to me says "this is my cover as scum for jumping onto people with lots of votes". If I didn't know of his inexperience he'd have a vote from me, for now though FOS on Shield.

Also Vote Campin_Killer lets get some posts out of people. (Yes, I know it's hypocritical for me, but I promise I'll try to be more active from now).

My vote is on shield. I was the first to vote him.

Anyway I'm not sure about lynching shield because do like to give new players a chance, but I'd still rather hear his defense over his actions from him.

yeah I'm a newbie and still trying to work on my "trolling" (I still don't quite understand that term, but I get the jist). Sorry if I'm not up to par yet, I'm still working my way up there.
I agree with Streaker about voting for the inactives. if they're never around they can't be of much help to the town.
Unvote Vote Campin_Killer
@Iliad - And why should I have to defend myself right now? It's still in the joke vote stage, although it appears it is coming out a bit.
To be honest, i don't get the case on Streaker. It doesn't seem he did anything scummy.
AoG, however, did 2 unusual things this game: he voted before the day scene AND tried to force the town from the joke vote stage. It seems very unusual, even for him, and although I can't tell thus far if he is scum because of it but I just wanted to point that out, maybe it's due to nervousness of being found out as a mafia member? IDK as of yet. Do you care to explain this AoG?

Trust me, it's 100% out of the joke vote stage at this point. The problem here is that CK not being around a lot is also somewhat true for other people. There's been a very uneven amount of participation in this game, and by no means is he the only person flying under the radar. But I'm willing to give shield a chance this time, and unvote vote Campin_Killer but I am keeping an eye on you right now.

If an inexperienced player is able to hide behind the fact that they are inexperienced to pull such a subterfuge on us, well, I'll be damn impressed.

I think it is getting close to replacement time for Campin :( although with such a big game, everyone is already in it so perhaps we need to lynch him or at least get an NK on him... At this point it is seeming more like a vanishing act than submarining though.

We would probably be best spending our time pressuring a more active player and let the inactives get replaced. If they show up without a valid excuse then we pressure for subbing.

With how long this game took to fill, I doubt any replacement will come this way..so..might as well kill out an inactive over an active..

That would be a mighty waste of a lynch. If you know he's not coming back, then voting for the inactive is basically no different to voting for a no-lynch.

Let the mod deal with it - he can decide whether to try for a replacement or modkill

Shield has done this before. Well, tried doing it before. Acting the exact same way, but he was lynched then. Turned out to be godfather. Just sayin'...

Now this I don't really agree with.
Why would it be a wasted lynch? You don't see the difference between lynching an inactive, and a no-lynch? Pressuring the lynch of an active player is far more beneficial, but lynching an inactive still beats a no lynch.
But yes, we will have commander deal with him.

I'm not really sure where to hunt next.
Shield is still out there, scummy as always ;)

His last post before that was three days ago (unless I missed one). I wouldn't call that submarining. However there is the issue of the easy bandwagon. FOS target. I'm on the fence with casting my vote. I would like to see some discussion here but I'm lenient towards newbies so some slack will be cut.

unvote Shield hasn't really defended his own actions, but I'm willing to let his rolefish slide. I agree that we should give newer players some slack, however we should still leave the majority of their own defense against any scumtells pointed out in their posts, to them.
I did however find this when re-reading. Only two posts, both blatantly jumping on the next wagon, first trying to follow freezie, then jumping on the campin killer wagon. [color=#FF8000]vote shaggydan
