Oh, crap. You are right, my friend...
I am gray. Vanilla Townie. My initial post kinda gave it away, when I thought it would be the Grays/shades of grays vs. colors or something like that...looking back, that doesn't make much sense.

I confirm this overstatement.
I will be out for the next 6 days. So, I will preemptively
vote anamaniacks. His name is clearly not a shade of gray, therefore he is scum.

Hmm...i think Rishaed did mention there would be vts. So ig isnt completwly unbelievable. On the other hand, it is an unprovable claim and doesnt hurt us much to lynch if true. My vote stands.

Meh. I still think Stubbs displays worse behaviour. I would examine his latest posts in detail but it's probably clear why he is a hypocrite and a happy go lucky bandwagon jumper.

So you don't think it's weird that as soon as people start voting him, he immediately reacts?

No. People voting for you is an excellent reason to post.

I need a fresh vote count...I have 4. Dj had four at one point. And I have a feeling that mafia is happy to let it come down to DJ and myself for the lynch. They don't have to do anything, just let time run out. Unfortunately, we are a little late in the day to get anything else going. I can't really vote DJ, because if he's town, then I'm screwed on D2. Stubbs might have some merit for a vote, as he's pretty set on DJ, and I'm not that convinced of DJ.
I'll wait for a VC. Do we want another claim, which would come from DJ or Stubbs, or are we happy with the information you will gain from my lynch?

With 14 alive it takes 8 to lynch. Deadline is 18.8.13. If The tie remains then, I will have a 24 hr vote off period.
Mod Note: If activity keeps up and you provide me for a reasonable excuse, I could be convinced to give you an extension.
Also SW I'm sorry but my classes start very soon, and I will provide the order for the final VC, but no others. I am trying to keep the time usage on vote counts minimal.

In all honesty I did start posting up once I returned. I screwed myself with my absense but once I got back I jumped in just so happened to coincide.

That's fine and dandy, are you just waiting until we are in the actual vote off before you claim, then?

I think Stubbs meant that Dj was potentially scummarining to get by under the radar, till he could no longer do that when he was under pressure. Though the time period might've been too short to come to such a conclusion.
Regarding Neb vs. Dj, I do think the fact that Neb hasn't simply thrown out his vote on Dj to swing the vote in his favour does possibly hint that Neb is who he says he is. He's willing to take one for the team as a townie, and doesn't want to put his vote on Dj in case he turns out to be a townie too. If we have to choose between the 2 of them, Dj seems the more suspicious of the two. But I think an extension or a vote-off period could give us some added information to make a better decision.
And
unvote, because mine was a joke vote from ages ago.

Stubbs has been consistent with voting DJ. Arguably to the extent of tunnel vision but I will not find fault with him alone for that. So right now we are tied 4 to 4. I will not be changing my vote. I don't particularly care for a run off vote but I still find the Neb case to be stronger (It's a case of possible scummarining vs. Neb's hypocrisy in voting DJ (while admitting it was a random wagon thus bandwagoning) and then blaming Aage for mimicry. Bandwagoning is the ultimate form of mimicry in mafia) and I will not vote for DJ while he is unclaimed. I also don't really see that much downside to lynching a claimed VT.

Lol...so someone gets voted for not posting. Then he posts, so we vote him some more for posting? I see the excellent logic at work here. Looks like a random bandwagon it is...
Vote DJ
So, this is the sticking point? Ya, I can see it...humor didn't come across at all. My approach was thinking to get at least a claim so that we have some information. Was it random? Yes. Was I bandwagoning? Yes. Would any mafia player be stupid enough to play like that on D1? No.
I hate not needing a majority vote, because now I die, and mafia don't even have to show their hand.
Looking back at our players, KGB007 and TFO are posting/contributing the least. I would like to have them post their thoughts on 3 players...
1. Neb
2. DJ
3. Stubbs
I would also then like them to cast their votes. Failure to do so raises their scumminess in my mind.
Mod...I would request an extension on this day, if possible.

This is just a stupid reason to wave away any suspicion in any game ever. I should know, I've used it often enough as scum.
It has convinced me though. Besides, VT claiming VT defeats the purpose of his own role, so Neb might just as well actually be scum.
Unvote, vote Neb.

Clearly you don't understand that my play style does not equal your play style. But thank you for taking a side here and voting...it will give town more info later on.

I got that there was humor, but it seemed more like mocking humor on the weakness of the bandwagon. Ultimately at this point for me it comes down to who would I rather lynch based on what we know of their roles, a claimed VT or an unclaimed player. Considering I count a case of submarining in a game during the joke vote stage weak, I'll stick with the low risk lynch of a scummy acting potential Vt over the high risk lynch of a possibly scummy unclaimed player.

Slowly and Surely, the light disappeared and the sun in the distance set. Instead of the vibrant display of colors, it was all shades of grey, but one shade of grey less. The world had lost some more of its vibrancy and diversity, and as some mourned others rejoiced and schemed some more. Slowly the darkness set in, and the world truly became alive. Those who would not do anything overt during the day became active and destructive at night. And those who knew the power also rose in the chances of the hope of a new day. Night Scene END.
As the night progressed one color was the focus, he noticed not only the people stalking him, but also a familiar face in the night. Before he could greet him he was thrown out of the way and replaced with another bystander. Just then the stalker began to swallow the bystander, but before the witness noticed him he disappeared in the night. Noticing the small splotch of shaded color the stranger begins to lay hold and shade some of the surrounding areas. It worked and he brought the shade to a nearby area where he slowly disappeared. Satisfied with his deed he returned and slept for the night.
Somewhere else a curiosity piqued a color. A unnatural shade appeared, something he never saw before, as he approached he was swallowed and screaming disappeared from the world.
Djfireside Grey Vanilla Townie has been killed.
That same unnatural shade slunk through a keyhole, and chuckling inserted a new rule unbeknownst to the moderator. It would disappear at the end of the day, but woe is he who breaks the rule.
Mod Note: You may only refer to colors, such as blue in their HEXADECIMAL values. ex the color that he voted was #0000BF. (You may not use the name of any color, just the hexadecimal value of said color.

Hexadecimal value? Is that the number you use when you have to vote in color on the pallet?

That would be indeed correct. I suggest you google it though under hexadecimal value.

Sure, but regular posting I don't believe is covered under the hexadecimal rule. Notice in the Night Scene that the shade with the rule restriction is described as "unnatural" which makes me think this is mafia or at least anti-town. Also based on the night scene, I believe we have a bus driver. Given this rule manipulative role, the bus driver is probably town as two manipulative anti-town roles is a bit much for a 14 person game with VT's.

I'm struggling to make a head or tail out of this. Colour A, is been stalked, by a group + familiar face. Now surely the group is mafia, I'm not sure who the familiar face is. Then, the familiar face is replaced by a bystander, so I'm guessing a busdriver is responsible here. Now the stalker becomes singular, after been plural earlier in the scene, so I'm guessing one has left the group; who then proceeds to swallow the bystander, but the bystander is still alive (I think). Now the stranger, who I think is colour A, does some shading in, and goes to sleep. That's what I've got.
