I picked Georgia Tech to upset North Carolina and only have 20 minutes before my picks are locked for Game Day...any advice on whether I should go back to N. Carolina? They're ranked #22 in the nation. :?

Help me, Obi-Wan

Tight call Luns... the Rambling Wreck has a lot of good things going for them,
but UNC has been hanging tough lately.

I do think it's a good choice for an upset and Tech's on their homefield.
is there a pt. spread to cover?

I honestly think it could go either way. I have NC as my pick but that's admittedly as much of an anti-Tech bias as it is anything.

GT is off to a good start, meanwhile Florida State had a 1st and goal
at S.Florida's one yard line... and didn't get it in. Now the Bulls have
turned the tables, going 99 yards in six plays for a touchdown.

Indiana 14 Michigan 14 1st Quarter

Florida St. seems to have trouble playing consistently. They barely beat Jacksonville St. a couple weeks ago.

Mississippi State is playing LSU close... both teams have spotted
the other TDs. Now MSU has turned it over a fourth time and given
the Tigers back the lead. A rainy day game... anything can happen.

LSU 16 MSU 14 halftime

Florida State turnovers and Southern Florida big passing plays is the story
of that game right now. I expect the Seminoles to turn it around in the
second half.

at the half
Cincy 21 Fresno St 17
Michigan 21 Indiana 23
Florida St 0 South Florida 14
Georgia Tech 10 UNC 0

Michigan has to be the worst 3-0 team in the country. No defense.
And can we get a bigger dose of Carlos Brown please? Thanks, 'preciate it.

The stats are close, but Michigan has turned it over twice.

In other words, if Michigan were playing even a decent Big Ten team, they'd be down by 17 right now.

Ha... yeah, probably.

Against GT... UNC has 3 first downs (none in the 1st Quarter) and all their offensive stats came on a single drive. Tech's defense has them bottled up so far.

All I can say is that Mississippi St. is a much better team than they were last year. Also go Indiana.

Michigan's offense is good but yeah their defense is pretty weak.

Well the defense seems to be deteriorating quickly in the LSU Miss St. game.

Anyone watching the Cal/Oregon game?

Is that ref the inspiration for the Mr. Mackey voice from South Park?

It's uncanny

A 97 yard punt return for a touchdown provides the winning margin for LSU
and a goal line stand by the defense saves the game with a minute left.

Mississippi State overcomes 4 turnovers and had a 1st & Goal with two
minutes remaining and failed to punch it in for the win.

Oregon has coughed up the ball 3 times in the first half against Cal
and still leads 31-3.

Except for 2 plays... Arkansas has been a game opponent at Alabama.
Unfortunately one was a 50 yard touchdown run for 'Bama's first TD
and nearly every Razorback on the field missed a tackle to stop him.
The other was a 50 yard pass for a second TD.
Arkansas has just cut the Crimson Tide lead in half, if they can continue
to catch the ball and make a few tackles this might get good.

It's obvious that Virgina Tech plays better in the rain than Miami
and the Hurricanes are fortunate it's only 21-0 at the half.

Colt McCoy is 24/30 with 3 TDs for 261 yards in the first half,
but Texas only leads 47-7... should he play the second half?

And Wyoming beat UNLV earlier today. We do horribly against big teams, but those that are in our own league we actually beat. Works for us I guess.
