are you an O's fan?

got my tickets for the Man City v Newcastle United game next Wednesday. my first game for a few years and my lads 1st game(he's 7). he wants to see Robinho play, this maybe a problem. :? i could blag his head and say Daniel Sturridge is Robinho if he's far enough away. :-$ he's small enough with a simular hair cut.

Robinho says he will be back for the game, if not explain to him that robinho has problems with his family. Then offer to take him later in the season. Thats what id do but im not a father so...

Unlucky Burnley i couldnt believe it when I turned over to see them 3 up I thought it was dead and burried in the first leg. Shame they lost it would have been one of the greatest upsets in league cup history had they won that.

Celtic 0-0 Dundee United
11-10 in penalties

Incredible drama, shame I was one of only 19,000 to watch it. I've never seen a penalty shoot out last that long before it was unbelievable.

Now we have a cup final against Rangers for the first trophy of the season, I hope I can get tickets its gonna be a cracker.

Man City 2 Newcastle United 1

Wright-Phillips, Bellamy

we were right behind the goal that Bellamy scored in. h took it well and play good all night. he's a bit different to what we've been playing with lately, but he'll have to keep doing that to covince me. he was caught off-side quite a few times, but that's nothing new for him. :D

my lad really enjoyed it and for the last 20 mins he was up and down on his seat trying to watch when we went close. he was cheering and jumping up when we scored and was even booing Barton and the Ref later on(i wasn't even booing :? ).

he was knackered when we got home at 10:45pm. i don't have to tell my fellow footy fans what it's like to get away from a match. :x

It went right round again their were actually 12 penalties taken each. The first taker goes again. Funnily enough the person that missed to give us the win was Willo Flood who happened to transfer to us two days later

p.s. Boruc's penalty was awesome, he should take our penalties. Although if he missed during a game he would have to run back quickly.

did you miss the Everton goal sammy. :D it was ok in the Northwest, it went off for about 20 seconds, but we seen the goal alright.

Man City 1 Middlesborough 0 :D :D

Bellamy.

unlucky cena, it was a good game and if 'boro had a decent forward(not Alves) they may well of scored a few. we had a shitload of chances aswell. Bellamy's goal was well taken, but the defence let him run with it.

Rangers game called off in the cup. they did draw 2-2 with AC Milan on Wednesday though.

It was on in setanta in Scotland and not stv (scottish itv) so it was fine here too.

Celtic 2-1 Queens Park

A little too uncomfortable considering they are a literally amatuer side :|

well, unless chelsea continues to slide, which i doubt as i think they will get their act together, then looks like we will have to win it to be in it next year. (champions league)

Sam, even if you win the Champs League you won't be in it. that was a one off thing when Liverpool won it and finished 5th. they said they won't let 5 let teams from 1 country again.

Adams and Scolari sacked in the same day

scolari wasn't a surprise to me but i do feel for tony adams. two of pompey's best players sold and the money was not released for new players. i'm loving pompey's demise though, they'll soon be a mid table coca-cola championship side where they belong. with the likes of middlesborough.

haway the lads. watch the rise and rise of sunderland.

i've been to about 10. 1st one was the 1980 Cup final were it kicked off big time(Sellick won 1-0 Danny McGrain :( ). seen Rangers beat Sellick 5-1. also the 2-2 game where Chris Woods, Terry Butcher and i think Walker of Sellick was sent off and Rangers were losing 2-0 with 8 minutes to go. Graham Roberts was in net. :D been to Parkhead a few time, was a shithole. :D

I was quite shocked that Abramovich would fire mid-season AGAIN

I think he just wanted to have Hiddink in, and was looking for an excuse. Grant was obviously going to get fired, he was only a temp even though he still took us a penalty away from winning the Champs League.

Considering what Hiddink has done with Korea, us Aussies, and Russia be very, very afraid of Chelsea. Just look at how Russia played in Euro 08 and quake.

Its one thing to to with a national team, but quite another to do it with a bunch of overpaid primadonnas
