The NCAA tourney preview is up and the tourney is going to be underway in minutes...sending out the 125-pound maps first and I'll keep them coming from there. We'll cruise through the brackets as the matchups come available, however, the placing matches will all be played at the same time with 7th place bouts going out first, then 5th-place, then 3rd place and finally our championship bouts for each weight.

I'll be updating team scores often since this is the title tourney. Good luck to all, and note the new three-map scoring format for the championship bracket (consolations will stick with the one-map format).

What if both people when a match in 5 rounds? Do they both earn a pin and beat each other?

In that case, whoever scores the pin first wins...first period trumps 2nd period and so on...good question

I won 2 of the 3 games in Canada.

Brackets updated and the first edition of the Scoreboard is up...Iowa State is our early leader with 15 1/2 points in the early stages. Been a busy couple of days, but I'll get more bouts out over the weekend. I've invited all who have open slots, as well.

165 and 174 pound brackets have their first-round bouts sent.

All first-round bouts have been sent out...except for 184 pounds where one qualifier remains active.

brackets updated through 125, 133 & 141...and 2nd round bouts sent out...team scores reflect updates through that.

The 149 and 157 brackets have been updated now, too, along with the Scoreboard. Iowa State continues to be our early leader with 21.5 points, holding a slim edge over Cornell and Illinois at the moment...still very early though.

Hey Flex, Quick Question. If we end up facing our partner, are we required to play against each other? Or can we just decide who will play against each other and get full points?

You will get full points (auto-pin) and can either play it out or simply decide who advances.
I won't be the case across the board, but for almost all draws I tried to keep teammates on opposite sides of the bracket.

All brackets 125-165 classes have been updated and I've sent out new bouts at 149 pounds and 165...Cornell continues to lead the pack, holding a slim four-point edge over Iowa State, while my OSU Beavers have moved into third place

The upper weight classes will be updated at some point Wednesday and I'm hoping to get all fresh bouts out in all weight classes. Good luck all...we're closing in on some key bouts ahead.
