Round 8 of group 2, there is only 11 players left in the group, so I've joined this game to give wisemanpsemc a challenge. I will not get any points from it. I will move the lowest scoring player from the group with most players to group two before round 9.
The other groups can have as few as ten players, as I can step in and fill the last spot. But I don't want to do that in the group that I'm competing in myself.

After we've finished the western front games we will disband all the groups and place everyone in one pool. The top nine players will play semi-finals for the three places in the final.

The semi-finals will be ceded by final score as following: #1v#6v#9, #2v#5v#8, #3v#4v#7.

I have joined the groups together.
For the battle in Ardennes we need a number of players the can be divided by six. So anyone below number 48 on the scoreboard has been eliminated from the tourney.

For round 10 the players from group 6 will join the total as well, then everyone who is more than four points away from qualifying to the semi-finals will be eliminated. The total number of players needs to be dividable by six, so I might have to keep a handfull of players below this cut-off point.

After round 10 the top 9 players will go to semi-finals on Iwo Jima.

Group 6 players who have failed to reach the required score for round 10:
Kilazul ---8
misher ---7
murphy16 ---6
bajafett ---3

At the moment the cut-off point is 10, though this might be higher after round 9.

Any ties will be resolved with 1v1 play on a randomly assigned map of one of the major powers of WWII, USA, the Soviet Union, the British Isles, Japan or Germany. If a three-way tie needs to be resolved we will play a round-robin on three of the above maps.

The cut off point for the next round is 4 points away from the top 9.
It looks like that will be 12.
But since the number of players in the final round has to be divisable by six, it is likely that a few players below the cut+off point will get to play the europe game too.

We won't use tie-breaker games for this, the players to be included will be decide by:
1, number of 6-player wins
2. number of 4-player wins
3. number of 3-player wins
4. number of 2-player wins.

All games are finished from the main body of the tournament.
We have a play-off game ongoing to resolve a four-way tie for advancement to the finals.

Hey Tokle, I'm about to win the playoff game for this tournament. Some recent things have come up though and I've decided not to renew my CC account to gold. I'm also in a large number of games right now (~20) some of which will take a long while to end. Therefore, in order to not hold up the progress of your tournament, I am offering to withdraw and allow the other 3 in the playoff to continue into the finals.

I'm sorry to see you leave like this, Johnny.

That moves us into the semi-finals.
For seeding I have created three pools, with the best three in Pool 1 and so on. Then I have randomized the order in each pool, to come out like this:
Pool 1
3. cwinslow22 ---19
1. cpmucha ---23
2. Igotcha ---21

Pool 2
2. stevieQ ---18
3. mario44 ---18
1. trevnkim ---18

Pool 3
3. 6D9 ---17
2. Bazamore ---17
1. snlfam ---17

The first names in each of these lists are matched up. As are the second and third.

Only the winners advance to the final game.
