I suppose I should have made the first part more obvious I was joking around. But like I said if the pms were over the weekend and he's only made one post in a private forum since, it only proves my point that he hasn't been active in the forums particularly since sunday. He and naxus seemed to be suggesting he was active with their comments. I don't consider one post since Sunday solid so I'm calling them out on that and I found it scummy to suggest such in a situation where at least in my eyes that didn't hold true. I'm not saying it's rock solid evidence but it is something.
Yes, but even that would warrant a "Sorry, I've been busy lately". It's not too difficult to pop in and type a line really quickly, all the more so as he's been prodded.

The main point that he's around as much as anyone. I've never said it was a strong case - I just voted an inactive, yet you're trying to show it as I've actually made it a full fledged case and now you're trying to attach it on me and pursue me as a big mean inactive hunter. I'm sorry strike, but that deserves a

Weekends ok for being lax on activity. But TSL is a mod and I can assume he's on at least once a day. That and why waste a few pages trying to change targets when we can just leave the pressure on till we get some sort of answer

Wether he has posted or not over the weekend or send pms, we can not see them, therefor he is and has been inactive. Point done.
And weirdly, I don't feel like voting either com nor strike on that matter. Com is trying to find a scumarinner by saying he answered pms but didn't post here, strike is going against commander for lieing about Sax beeing around.
I mean, if they sent pms between each others, we won't know, so strike is right in his accusations......But still, Com isn't exactly doing harm by pressuring someone that hasn't posted and is beeing pressured. Sax is still at l-6 anyway....Well, l-5, since I want him to post now.
Vote: Sax
Moral of this story: Using the fact that a user has sent you pms to vote him in a mafia game is poor evidence in any ways shape or form. The fact he is inactive is here, but what's outside the game stays outside the game..

Looks like Sax is becoming the focus point of D1, which bodes very badly for him.
If he doesn't respond in a day or two I think he needs to be replaced. Tbh, it looks to me like he is the most likely to be lynched atm, and I'd rather not lynch someone who isn't going to defend himself at all.

You're still exaggerating the severity of the situation. If TSL rejoins the thread and has a reasonable explanation for the lack of activity, things will probably be fine for him. He's not nearly close enough to a lynch for things to be looking very bad for him.

I thought this as well. My ears were also ticked by Haggis wanting to replace him. I think I understand his reasoning about not wanting to vote someone who isn't around to defend themselves. But I can also see this move as something a compatriot might suggest, wanting us to get along with a replacement instead of a vote if in fact we are onto someone this early.

In light of his submarining seeming more intentional, we should get to the bottom of this quickly so we have more time to decide, plus he's still on a joke vote, so I'm curious to what his excuse is.

I pretty much agree with this actually but unfortunately you can't always depend on that, I've modded the dexter game where I prodded someone, they apparently read the prod but never replied in any way and then complained when they were replaced. It may be etiquette but people don't always follow it.
naxus wrote:Weekends ok for being lax on activity. But TSL is a mod and I can assume he's on at least once a day. That and why waste a few pages trying to change targets when we can just leave the pressure on till we get some sort of answer
This reasoning is weak as hell. Mods miss time too you know. I'm pretty consistently on day to day with varying activity but plenty of mods miss time and I think it is fair to say that for most mafia isn't top priority even if they are on. To say you assumed he had been on with flawed reasoning and then stated he had been active as matter of fact I am really tempted to shift my vote to you right now.

Yes you voted an inactive which from my experience tends to be out of character for you. Were you not the one beating up on the victor sullivan wagon in POTC mafia for being against an inactive? You've maintained silence against those on this wagon which is fine it's a perfectly ok wagon overall with traditional pressuring of an inactive. I'm only against those who seem to be trying to point out he is active which isn't really true. Also no I don't think you're trying to use it to get him lynched but I do feel you are trying to create some kind of air of protowniness by asserting that he is active and making it look like it is a bit more than a common inactive hunt. It isn't. I felt the same way about your premature cry to get a discussion going and I will back up my opinion.

I will read up and then post a massive post for my views. I'm sorry.

Ya, I'm a bit confused by this. He could have meant com9 for giving us the PM story but there isn't anyone who has or can claim for him. Maybe his post will shed some light on this.

I think a claim would be the most produtive thing to do at this point since there are only four days left.
in the meantime as promised for the other current votes of note (not counting comm because the vote count doesn't seem to be accurate, or it wasn't counted because it wasn't bolded.)
