Due to my being sick this weekend, I may be unable to update the standing and deliver new games until next weekend. Thank you all for your understanding.

Standings are updated. I've removed the player standings, as they're irrelevant now.
Games to follow either today or tomorrow.

I'd like to see them again. It's like a review of the league leaders in the back of the sports section.

They are also used for determining order in the playoffs!

To all players:
I've been lax in my efforts to make sure games have been joined. This is due partly to not having time to check each day to make sure games are joined quickly, and also due to not wanting to enforce the 72 hour forfeit rule. THIS CHANGES NOW.
From now on, the 72 hour forfeit will be enforced WITH NO EXCEPTIONS. Also, do not expect to receive a reminder from me.
The way it will work is this. If after 72 hours, the pm I sent you has left my Outbox, then I will assume you've received it, and I will mark your games as forfeit losses. If it is still in my Outbox, I will show some restraint and assume that real life has kept you from CC. Otherwise, if it has left the Outbox, you must join.
If I get a message from you explaining you need time to join, that will ALWAYS be honored. Communication is a key. If I don't hear from you, and you don't join within 72 hours after I send the games, THEN YOU WILL FORFEIT, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Go to this link and follow the instructions:
http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=527&t=86543&hilit=tour+statsI had asked the author of Map Rank why it wasn't working and he wrote this up. I meant to tell folks about it but got busy.
I'm now 24 and 12 but intend to quit soon even though we're in the finals supposedly. I'm just getting burned out on CC, the bad dice and the ridiculous odds just give me ulcers. This is supposed to be fun so I'll be quitting, just trying to find someone to take over my account. I'm in a big losing streak now (losing 21v3 to eliminate a player in escalating will do that to you) so I'm not a major anymore but who knows, Angus Khan is a proud name, maybe he can go on.

Dude, you can't have someone take over your account without them becoming a multi. No one here is going to do that. If you want out of the tournament, just drop out, and I'll replace you.

Dude! I'm trying to find someone who is
NOT on CC to take over my account, otherwise I just have account sitters to keep it active, but that's a pain. I used to really enjoy this site, but not lately, not with the weird dice happening.

The All Star Game was won by the National League, meaning they will have home-field advantage in the World Series!

Standings are updated, and the player standings have returned. Games to follow, maybe not tonight, because I'm too busy watching the Red Wings thrash the Sharks, currently 6-0!!!

Okay, the team standings say we (Angels) are 61-63
The player standings say:
jrh_cardinal 28-15
shaneback 20-20
Xayton 15-28
That comes out to 63-63
I used tour stats, and the player standings are correct. Actually, I am 29-15, but that probably just means that I finished my last game after the standings were updated. Can we get this looked at?

The reason for this jrh_cardinal is two-fold. I did the team standings before I did the player standings, so it's quite probable that your last game didn't finish before I checked the standings. Also, you have one game that you completed that had to be struck from the record - a game against Oakland that had to be remade because I sent games to the wrong player on that team. Unfortunately for you, you won that game.
When I post player records, I use Tour Stats, and I make any necessary adjustments, to allow for make-up games.

Okay, the point was the team record. If you're saying I do only have 28 wins that's fine, I don't care, but I do care about the team record because we're trying to fight for one of the last playoff spots in the AL. We could really use those 2 extra wins

IMPORTANT UPDATE!
I've clarified the playoffs. Previously I had not stated clearly who gets home maps during the playoffs. Hope this is clear enough for all.
The playoffs will be expanded from the MLB playoffs - I'll be taking 8 teams from each league. All series will be best of 7. At the end of the regular season, I will take each team that makes the playoffs and rearrange the CC players from best record in a team to lowest. This way, the 'pitcher' who won most games within your ball club will play in Game 1, Game 4, and Game 7 in each series, the second best player on a team will play in Game 2 and Game 5 and the third best player in Game 3 and Game 6. The series will go on a 2-3-2 rotation, meaning the higher seeded #1 plays two home games, while the #2 and #3 players will play one home one away.
