Wish United signed Yaya Toure and by the time he goes to Africa for the Cup of Nations Hargreeves would be healthy.

Revenge, no. Beating you: still good.
Your first game against a serious opponent without Ronaldo.

Fair enough. Nothing to separate the sides over 120 mins though, Ronaldo or not...
I had to laugh at my bro when he said he reckons the ref turned up in an escort but went home in a jag! Not that there's any allegations of bias or anything

I feel bloody sorry for Norwich City fans..
Relegated to the championship....
Then relegated to League 1....
Then beaten at home on the first day of the season in the third tier...
... 7-1 by Colchester Utd....

I don't think you people are taking into account quite how balanced our finances are. They're really balanced. Don't pretend this doesn't fill you with terror

Was Delia on at half-time cheering the crowd up again? Seriously that's a shocking decline though, worse even than Leeds (SCUMBAGS!!!). The canary has died...

No, but from what I gather, 2 Norwich scallies came on just before half time, and said 'Let's be having yerrr!' to Brian Gunn

Good start for the Hatters. 0-0 v Oldham. Outplayed but didnt concede. The first point towards safety. A county fan sent a text in to the football show on the beeb asking them not to show Owain Fon Williams performance in goal(which was outstanding) so the big clubs wouldnt get their cheque books out. I do recomend taking a look at the first save at about 48 minutes.
Save of the season already So I am asking the big clubs....keep your dirty fucking hands off of our goalie........
please.

Good result for us (1-1 against West Brom away) considering the circumstance. Tim Krul did an excellent job in the second half with several excellent saves, and sweet finish from Duff for our goal.

I love the anticipation of a Scotland game. Although it's really wierd to be on the same side as daz :s lol
I think we can go there and win, they have a few decent players but they are not the same team they once were. It will be tough but i reckon we will do it!

Hi football fanatics,
I've started a series of Tournaments based on European Cup Competitions. During the coming season about 20 are planned and it all ends with an UEFA Champions League for the best players from each Tournament.
If you are interested, then check the first one based on the Spanish Cup:
IMEC's Copa del ReyKind regards,

Wow Scotland got stuffed today, lucky only to have conceded 4. England were owned in the first half, but quality finish from Defoe, 2-1 atm.

We didn't get stuffed we got fucking cheated.
Player sent off, neither was a booking. Carew was pulling just as hard back.
Then they got a jammy deflection.
Game was already over. They were shite and 7/10 times we would have won that game. They couldn't keep the ball for shit and in the end we had 4 full backs on in a 10 man team. The fourth goal was NEVER a free kick and the third was another lucky deflection. Fair enoguh they had one goal that should have counted but most of it was a combination of flukyness and shiteness by the ref.
I swear to god we are a better team. I am like so fucking raging rite now, everyone will look at the score and go, wow they got humped. But if the stupid sending off had never happened it would have been a very tight game.[/rant]
We will still qualify anyway, keep the faith!

I cant comment on the 2 yellows as I started watching it after that. I watched it for around 20 minutes in the second half and it seemed fairly one-sided to me. If the rest of the game wasn't like that fair enough, buts it hard to win 4-0 and not actually deserve a victory.
Btw good performance by England in the second half, amazing to see just what Capello can do, especially compared to the shit that Steve Mclaren pulled out.

Hello all, long time no speak for some of you
A few interesting ties sprung out of the Carling Cup draw tonight, biggest one West Ham v Millwall

I expect that to be a nice friendly game
My beloved Wednesday got drawn to Piggie beaters Port Vale, let's hope Wednesday can show them how it's done

good to see you post again Phobia.
Hugh if Caldwell didn't dive into Pedersen like a numpty he wouldn't of got sent off. he deserved to be booked for that one.
for the first 25-30 mins we played alright and seemed to be in control, but then Caldwell got sent off and Risse scored the free kick(deflected off Scott Brown). then a goal in injury time of the first half and it was game over.
there wasn't many that could come off that pitch and hold their head up, but Scott Brown was fooking shit. for the 2nd goal he was just jogging back and let the fullback run into the space.
on to the Ingerland game. the Dutch were very good in the 1st half and then they took off Van der Vaart and brought on Sneijder. Jim Beglin is a bellend, he says Sneijder is the better player than Van der Vaart, bollocks.

You've got barry-fever. A Rangers and Scotland fan who likes to blame every Celtic player for every loss and credit every Rangers player for every win. Although Brown was pretty poor after we went behind. The first one was not a booking he got the bloody ball, it was possibly a free kick but no more. There was clear intent for the ball.

It fucking sucked that I didn't get to see the first half. The second half was pretty boring with regards to the dutch since they didn't even get any chances.
