Anyone who doesnt like this, is really saying that they dont like that other players have a better chance now. It cant possibly be because you yourself dont want the info, because you can always ignore it if you really want to go through the log and count the numbers for yourself.

This eliminates a great inequity that has existed on CC for many years.

The next one will certainly have some complaints from certain "clicks" too Ill bet.

Hate in on fog of war maps. Now everyone knows who's doing well at a glance. No big surprises now.

No one was attacking me. They see I have 16 terrs which must be off to one side, suddenly all over me. Yeah, screwed up fog of war games.

No, it just means you were getting off easy by playing people who didn't know what they were doing. Now you're faced with a challenge, even against low-level players.

i think alot of players really like this option and why are you complain do you not like BOB either bob has been around forever on this site soi dont see what the problem is.

Your BOB script is out of date, you have to update it.

I dont have bob java issues but i do like this update it is a help and time saver good job CC good to just take a glance and see whats going on without scrolling thru the log and what not especially for spoils check

Anything that takes away secrets and gives player's more insight into the game, actually makes a game better. That is why chess is the ultimate game, because there is no secrecy or chance going on at all. Everything is just plain to see in front of you, so truly the best player wins instead of the most lucky one.

This add on does not give away any "secrets". It just does the math.

Oh no! This thing counts how many territories I have! It used to be such a big secret when only the log displayed "playerA received X troops for holding Y regions" !

Oh no! It counts how many troops I have on the map. Obviously, no one could notice I have three stacks of 20 troops right there before this update. People obviously couldn't notice I had a lot of troops before they were added together!

Oh no! It counts how many troops I will receive. Even though I've held Asia for 3 rounds and have been getting 10 troops a turn, no one noticed it until this thing came out. Now people are trying to break my bonus because they can see that I hold it by looking at the map the map ...er... looking at that box to the right of the map!

This is such a terrible update!

If you consider it an extra challenge and want it on, fine. But don't make everyone else use it. Are we all going to have to play with Fog of War just because it makes the game harder?

This is a very narrow view of what the feature actually does. Yes, it does "level the playing field" with inexperienced players who don't know how to add. However, it also removes a lot of subtleties of how you place troops and the look of the map. It's a visual game, and the whole point of having different maps is to add some flavor and color to the game so that it's not just about numbers and probabilities. Showing the stats does not tell the whole story, but it does influence perception and I would prefer to influence that perception myself rather than relying on a running tally of "who's in first".

That stats just show what you already knew, but in a more convient format so more people understand the information that is given to them in the first place. More information (or more openess if you will) to base your strategy on can only improve a game in my view.

That's a very narrow perception of what the feature actually does. The number of armies, territories, and bonuses due, do not necessarily correlate directly to "who's in first". For that, you need to take into account positioning, distribution of armies, likely moves, and more. Being able to read those things properly is what makes someone good at this game. Any moron can attack the guy with the most troops.

At last! I managed to turn it off.
