I personally like a Divine flavored closed Hawkings' model with multiple universes. But that is only because most people don't understand infinity well enough to realize that even the "open" universe really isn't all that open; just infinite in every dimension.

Anytime you use the word "God" you cease to be talking about a theory. You're not even talking about Hypothesis. You're talking Hypothetically.

In my opinion the question is if Gravity is more powerful than the rate of expansion as well as...how did all of this start?

Dude! You're waaay behind!
I can't blame you though. This stuff makes my head ache for something a little less.... mathematical. Like boobs, beer, and football (real).

Yeah as I said in the other response post, I know of that Theory as well, I thought about adding it but I think that goes under the M-Theory (Multiverse). If you think that, just vote for the 'other' choice :).

There isn't an "Other" choice. Perhaps you meant something else?

There is in the parallel world.
Where you have a beard.

My favorite episode, in fact.

Damn your right, I forgot to put an other choice, for some reason I was thinking that "I don't know" was the other choice.

O well, you can still put what fits the most... so I would vote for simply one cycle of what you think...Big Bang Big Crunch...otherwise you can put it for M Theory (It includes Multiverse). Even though multiverse usually means more than one universe at one time, it could also mean at different times.

...but yeah, I'll remember to add an 'other' choice next time.

In general there are so many Theories that have little twists and turns to the main ones I gave as choices.... most of these would probably fit into the M-Theory. Right now the M-Theory is pretty much what scientests think for either more than one universes (multiverse)... also a Universe in a Big Universe (like Bubbles in a bath tub...each bubble represents a universe) or parallel universe of sorts...either at the same times or at different times.

When you talk about things way out there (lets say a universe next to our universe) you have to watch out about the time thing too...because Time out there is much faster than Time by us. (they have done this test with an accurate clock on the sea floor and and a twin one in space that ended with slightly varied results)

Note also that the M Theory includes all the string theories and the super gravity theory as demonstrated in the picture on page one.
