Also, I'm kind of hoping that the white in the image can blend in with the white background on the homepage. I'm no wizard with GIMP and it can probably be fixed, but I'm unsure on how to.

Wizard here. Just add (replace) to each layer name as so:

Layer 3 (100ms)(replace)
Layer 2 (100ms)(replace)
Layer 1 (100ms)(replace)

That's assuming that the white colour is only on the first (bottom) layer. You'll need to ensure that there is no white colour on any of the other layers. But to be honest, it would look better if each layer had the same dimensions.

Dumbledore out.

I like it when they're different sizes...it brings a sense of diversity.

Yes, diversity. Another unique solution brought to us by Army of God!

I support this suggestion because, well, we know whose idea it is!

You might want to try and not shrink the maps so much:

That's good but we could definitely use more maps.

Good job Sir. Ricco. However, I think the animation was better when it showed the full maps; as attempts to try and capture the high-resolution features of each map are feeble with .gif files.

Ya, they kind of look all nasty when they're zoomed in

I have to agree with you on that point. However, they are actually shrunken just slightly from 630/600 to 550. I also think to lose a lot of the graphical quality when you shrink them as in the original way. But its better then what we have now.

I am not a webmaster expert, but I know you can host slide-shows on your website. I do not know if it will work with the way lack has it set up, but I know it is possible.
