Round 1 of Ethelwold's rebellion;
The year is 899, the great king Alfred lies dead. His son Edward has succeeded him to the throne, but Alfred's nephew Ethelwold, the son of a previous king, claims to have more right to the throne.
Ethelwold does not find much support among the barons of Wessex, and attempts to flee to the north.

Round 2 of Ethelwold's rebellion;
Ethelwold escapes from the henchmen of the king, and travels to Northumbria to ask help from the Danes.

Will have won round 2 by next turn its 29-6 in region count, its me vs shoop in the semis

Round 3 of Ethelwold's Rebellion.
Ethelwold failed to raise any support in Northumbria. The Danish king had him executed, and sent his head back to king Edward as a sign of friendship.
