That is probably why they all attacked you, it was probably all retaliatory attacks. If you didn't want other peoples opinion you should have submitted an e-ticket instead of a C and A Report.
So, benga looks like a nice guy as far as I know him and, with all due respect, from the looks of it this situation has to do with your gameplay and not his alleged lack of character.

I don't see why anyone should play agressively while there is no party holding 50%+ (or at least close to it, like 45%) of the overall army strength (bonuses and cards factored as well).

Standard 4-player flat rate gameplay should be pretty similar to no spoils ones: you take your own bonus and build up, the difference being you should try to hit uninmportant 1s (not part of bonuses) to get a card. In essence, a stalemate just like no spoils, but with 1s being attacked back and forth.

This is how I would play. And if someone kept breaking my bonuses for no good reason I'd retaliate. And if someone was the only one breaking bonuses on the game, I could see that person getting quickly destroyed with no need of collusion.

Game 8007441 - red was all over the map and the assaults on him/her were more retaliatory than "ganging" on him/her.

Game 8007442 - after blue conquered asia from red, if red was weak enough to be taken, and especially being in the middle of the map, yellow took that opportunity.

Game 8007443 - nothing suspicious about this game.

Game 8007444 - nothing suspicious in this game too.

Game 8007445 - if these three were coordinating to eliminate MegasWoman, why did yellow miss that opportunity after blue almost killed off red?

However, in spite of all these, there is still that sense that these players may be more on having the lowest rank get eliminated first to ensure that lesser points are deducted just in case of a loss. This is cleared but still noted.

king a what all seem to forget in this is that it was a tourney were finishing position counts for points. I am sorry it has nothing to do with rank. This should not even be noted, megas has already admitted hitting all bonuses of other players in this gameGame 8007441

This move by megas set the president for the over games for the following reasons.

1)she had the lead in one game.
2)she was attacking all players in that game instead of focusing on one.
3) they would of thought she had that game so would of concentrated more on her in the other games.

I am sorry but i feel if megas cannot play this style of tourney without starting a c and a report for no reason she should stay away from them. Maybe ask jefjef to show her the ropes for this style.

and king a this noted will more than likely affect future tourneys like this. because organisers will more than likely have to put rank limits in place because higher ranks will be 2 scared to attack lower ranks.

ps my 1 month ban is over last forum post 5th december.

Over 10,000 games and her 1st report... Let go of your jealousy and vendetta and stop trying to bait us eddie.

king a correctly ruled on this:

Serial targeting of lesser ranks, at the expense of your chances to win, is an abuse. In this specific instance they did not need to eliminate her in order to make sure she didn't win. Just had to make sure they had more due to the scoring system of the tourney.

No I did not attack her cause of her low rank.
I do not throw games.
Every time she is near me she goes to brake my bonus.
So the only reason she was under fire is
her not being a reliable neighbour.

I can't win any game if someone is constantly trying to kill me off,
brake my bonus, not let me develop.

If I can't grow, I won't just bend over and let someone walk over me.
I will fight back.

I am the TO of the tourney all these games are running for.

qwert informed me by PM about that thread. I didn't receive any note from MegasWoman or anyone before that.

To be clear, the 4 involved players here are in one group, playing 7 games. in each of the 7 games, the winner gets 5p, runner-up 3p, 3rd place 1p. the best 2 players of this group after 7 games advance to the QF. after a loooong round 1 (6 months), I decided to put a time limit on round 2, which is currently running. so games have to be finished by January 17.

these games are NOT normal flat rate games. there's the time limit and there's the tourney. It is about strategy. one strategy could be to eliminate another player to make sure to earn the 2nd place in the group and allow another player to win the game. another strategy could be to win as many games as possible. everybody has to decide on their own strategy.

In the 168 games in the tourney so far, I saw a lot of different approaches of players trying to get to the next round.
In these 168 and many others I played so far, I saw players breaking other players bonuses and others that don't do that. there are a lot of different strategies in this game and there's a lot of trash talk in the games to try to scare players and everyone.

I don't see anything suspicious here but I'm a bit shocked by how certain people in this thread try to shut others up because they don't have the same opinion, trying to scare them away by threatening them. I don't post often on the boards here but I really hope that is not a normal thing and that someone will look into that. that's the only thing about these 4 players that disturb me.

there have been other complaints about players joining up against another one, multiple accounts and everything. so let me say this: round 1, 16 groups of 4 players, was determined by random.org, round 2 was created by me without players knowing who will get into which group. so I heavily doubt that anyone could have planned to move into the same group as a friend or anything.

looking at the current standings in round 2, I could see why Remo and benga have an interest to hit on MegasWoman and eliminate her from the tourney. neither of them said that in this thread, so I think they are playing fair. I could understand if they say: yes, I try to kill MegasWoman because that would improve my chances to reach round 3. that's what this tourney is about, to reach the next round and eventually win the trophy. so MegasWoman is a target at the moment, as she needs to win at least 1 of her remaining 2 games and finish at least 2nd in the other to even have a theoretical chance to get to the next round. maybe the frustration comes from that fact. there are many other players in this tourney that became targets just because of strategy.

I play other tourneys, like the formula 1 tourney. there the current leader is always attacked in his first game. he's the target. don't take it personally, it's part of how the tourney works.

I hope you understand that and don't threaten me because I don't share your opinion. next time I'd appreciate it if someone informs me about an issue in my tourney straight ahead. thanks.
