Whine whine whine whine bitch bitch bitch bitch. Man, I love these threads. They remind me of teenage girls on their first periods, for some reason.
MNDuke, what makes you think there's something wrong with the dice? How do you know they are not supposed to act exactly the way they do?

The almost clever monkey chimes in yet again. So nice of you to always be for such an obviously broke system...why do I get the succinct feeling that you are a former member of the Bush administration?
It was pretty funny actually.
And unrelated to anyone in particular of course..."almost clever" is without a doubt better than not clever at all...

Why ARE you still here? I'm not trying to drive you off...I simply do not understand why someone would frequent a business that they are so clearly and so consistently angered and disgusted by. It'd almost certainly help your blood pressure if you left.

Actually, your first post fits the exact definition of passive aggressive, his is more passive comedic and possibly passive helpful...assuming the correct audience.
I am still amazed that with the number of times that term is used, those using it never take the time to actually look it up.

Here is a perfect example of how the dice are complete shit and need to be fixed. The improbability of a game turning out this way...is well, I don't have the odds, but I know they are completely ridiculous. I would say its got to be less than 5%. If the dice aren't fucked up, why does this happen at least 30% of the time?

Get real CC. Classic example of how games are now decided by luck instead of strategy.

Passive aggressive? I would suggest you don't understand the term. I'm being pretty direct and not really very aggressive at all.

Why would you believe I am pretending I don't have emotions? I have suggested nothing of the sort. I have merely stated that I am not the one angered here, which I am demonstrably not.

You believe this quotation of yours here is a fine example of perspective? And if you don't believe my question to you was relevant, you really do need some perspective. As I said, I truly do not understand frequenting a business that so frequently angers and disgusts you. Whether you've paid for a service already does not account for continuing to use that service under those circumstances.
If I had a year's worth of free Big Macs but got sick of eating Big Macs, I would not continue to eat them simply because they did not cost me anything. That doesn't even seem like a rational thing to do, to be honest.

I believe the term for what you are referring to is Sunk Costs, meaning that you have already incurred the expense of premium membership and because there is no way to get it back you should not account for it in any future decisions.

I think a better comparison would be somebody from McDonalds gives Duke a cup of coffee labeled "hot" every day. And every day Duke throws the coffee in his own face and then yells, "Oh my God! This coffee is hot! Why is this so hot?! This coffee should be less hot!"

I think a better comparison would be if McDonald's promised an average coffee temperature of 155 degrees F. Except instead of ever actually being near 155 degrees, the coffee is either ice-cold or near boiling. I'd be throwing that coffee out too.
But hey, as long as the average is fine, who cares right?

MNDuke, what makes you think there's something wrong with the dice? How do you know they are not supposed to act exactly the way they do?
Based off my real world experiences and how the dice used to behave or at least how I perceived them to behave. The dice now are far too streaky and unbalanced. Sure in the long run or grand scheme of things you can tell me they balance out, because if I'm getting bad dice in one game I'll get good ones in another to make up for it. But that notion is just plain ridiculous and not an acceptable nor rational response. Game to game the dice should be less streaky. That has been my whole point all along. Unbalanced dice create lousy games and takes away from the fun and experience of the site. They should be freak occurrences and not happy at the frequency that they do. It's like being struck by lightning 50% of the time I go out in a thunderstorm.

few minutes ago I had 8vs3 and 8vs2,1 for the kill but I lost.. and not with 1 or two men short.. those numbers turned into 2vs3 and 6vs2,1 and then I killed first land at 5vs1... first 0-4 was against 5,6, then against 4,5 and cant remember the last one...
ofc I can understand that odds for losing 8vs2 arent exactly astronomical but loses like 8vs2, 7vs3 or 2 etc. happen way too often here.. thats the problem with this random numbers bs program..
edit: my next turn was 33vs8,7 lost only 4
anybody who thinks this is ok, is a 'what pedro called natty'

But there are lots of people who claim that they see the same kind of dice rolls in real life as they see in CC. Then you say that you don't see these kinds of dice in real life. Who should I believe? Do you even play dice games in real life?
Like it or not, when dice are involved, they are always an unknown factor. It seems to me, that the best players take advantage of this. They take in account the fact that you can never know how the dice fall, and plan accordingly. Always calculating possibilities, weighing risks against benefits. But never taking the dice for granted.
The worst players, on the other hand, have this notion in their head of how the dice "should" behave. They see an 8v1 for example, and think that "I should definitely be able to win this roll" and do not consider the possibility that they might actually lose that roll. Or they are defending a 10v6 and think "no way is he going to be able to kill my 10" and do not consider that the enemy might actually succeed. Then when the unthinkable happens eventually, that the dice fall the way they "shouldn't" fall, they get all huffy and post dice-bitching threads on the forums, which to the rest of us are extremely annoying and painful to read, because they remind us of whiny little girls who need to man up and stop complaining all the time.
Sorry if this offends your sensitive feelings, but that's just the way I feel.

Why, if this isn't the biggest load of crap I've ever read. If you can't ever know how the dice are going to fall, how can you plan accordingly? That doesn't make any sense. You can set up your defenses and plan your attacks, but there is no way to plan for the bullshit dice that happen at an all too frequent rate. There is no way to account for when the dice will be streaky. What a load of shit natty. The clear problem, which you fail to recognize time and time again is that the unthinkable happens far too often. It happens at a greater rate than you should expect. Thus, it takes away from the strategy and puts the game into the hands of the dice. The unexpected is the new normal and the expected has become the unexpected. I plan on losing every roll and well quite frankly, I'm fucking tired of it being the case. I play and have played all sorts of dice games and have never seen dice behave like they do here. Yes, maybe on occasion they do have their extremes, but not like it is on CC. They are not streaky like this and they hardly the cause for unbalanced games. In real life, strategy accounts for something and its very rare that dice are the determining factor in a game. I'm sorry if this is painful for you to read. Sometimes the truth hurts. You can ignore me and all the other dice bitch threads out there and quit all your dice bitching as well. You are really no different, but just on the opposite side of the coin. You are merely bitching about how much you like the dice and dislike dice bitch threads. Making you just the same as all the other whiny little girls. I hope this doesn't offend your vagina too much. Boom. I've seen both good and bad players on both sides of the dice issue, so I really don't think it has much to do with that as much as it has to do with the way people perceive the dice change. I for one have noticed a difference and feel that this needs to be known and a change needs to be made. Your is just one opinion amongst many as is mine. Refusal to accept this or respect opposing viewpoints is just ignorance on your part.

if this is true then u shud put ur turn right next to mine and add a few more of these crazy turns and what u get is extremely streaky and bipolar behavior of the bs dice program.. I am not saying these turns are impossible or that a singled out turn like the one u had proves anything, problem is that we get this shit way too often here.. nobody is mad about 1 or 2 shitty turns, but everybody is mad about days when dice are a frikin disaster in like 80% of the turns one takes that day... ppl are mad about losing 400 points in 10 days, how the hell is that possible if nothing changes in ppls play? how do u explain that when it happens to a good experienced player who lost hundreds of points cuz of bs dice and his only fault was that he had way too many active games at the bad time.. maybe u didnt notice anything cuz u have like a 1 turn/day so how could u even understand what am I saying
btw natty, ur post are really dumb..

You obviously played Risk with much different dice than I did. The dice I used almost always were the determining factor in the game. Perhaps you used 20-sided dice instead of 6-sided?
