no i didnt apply there. but i did apply to columbia college in there music department. thats in illinois.

hey my brother went to berklee!! he played guitar and not long after he started a band called "Drop" and he went all up the east corridor playing in clubs. then he moved to New Orleans, where he currently lives, right after Katrina (apartment prices were real cheap) and joined the New Birth Brass Band (that's right, a guitarer playing in a brass band-and he's the only white guy!
). last night he played Preservation Hall on the getjoe (like a banjo but cooler). so if you get accepted into Berklee, just know, people before you go on to do great things

wow thats cool. so my capital audition went very well i would say. i had to do some singing, and piano playing (music theory class placement i guess) and then my actual drum stuff. it all went smooth and awesome. i think i got this one.

That's great to hear that your auditions went well.
I won't be applying to colleges until next year, so I'm still trying to soak up whatever little bit of bliss I have left.

WELLLLL heres the news guys. first the good news. I got accepted into capital universities music conservatory. Woo hoo!! ok bad news. Berklee put me on a wait list. booo.... so ya. i knew that would happen though. my capital audition was way better than berklee. i must have been nervous or somethin. well i guess its better to be wait listed instead of being completely denied.

so the final decision is that im going to Capitals music Concervatory. They gave me $11,000 in scholarship money and i have a few more of my own scholarships for more cash. yup. Columbus Ohio. should be cool. Cant wait to get that Jazz performance degree goin!!! there will be many hours of practicing going on in my future... even more than i practice now.
