I'm planning to get the Week One games out today (Wednesday)...the plan will be for new maps to go out each Wednesday just days prior to the actual NFL date...the idea being that by Sundays many of our CC games are decided or close to it, along with the real NFL action.

Week 1 games have all been sent...if you returned to the tourney, but didn't confirm your map choice for this year, I just went with what you had down for the 2010 season. You can still make changes if you like, but I will lock down map choices after week 3, so decide in the next few weeks.

Scoreboard for the current week and standings are posted at the top of this thread and will be updated every few days.

The CC version of Packers-Saints was nowhere near as thrilling as last night's real deal with dowian pulling off a 61-3 win for Green Bay, and defending champion St. Louis opens 2011 with a big win.

In the scoreboard...yellow #s mean completed maps...blue mean ongoing or yet to be joined maps. A handful of players have yet to join week 1 maps...please start those by the end of the weekend.

Bradford showed off his strong arm in Week 1's opener. The defense was able to control Vick. An interesting side note, the Edward Jones Dome was constantly playing 'Who let the Dogs out'.

Looks like the 49ers Defense shut down the Seattle Seahawks week 1. Just as in real life it was the defense and Ginn that won it for the 49ers. ... yes all 40ish to 50ish points came from special teams and defense as even on this board game i will give no credit to alex smith . I guess two of my scores came from the wildcat formation. Gore ran one in and threw another to V. Davis. Alex smith ended the day with a negative QB rating.

Never to fear though, we will always keep you around Smith, whoever takes over the 49ers in next years tournament will give alex smith another chance... just as the niners do year in and year out.

One word...not for young kids...one in our theater tonight. It's a lot for adults to process, too much for young kids. High schoolers, yes...much younger than that, I'd say find a sitter.

Posting in all my tournament forums, as my profile says one of my favorite things is being a dad, yet we can all do it better. This movie has an important message -- I highly recommend it. (Also a novel of the same name written after the screen play by Oregon author Randy Alcorn).
